what a ripoff!

i'll say it as much as i want , i started the thread , its a Bethesda game with the other guys helping , not much by the looks . and i didnt finish it in half a hour .

Actually you did say you finished it an a half hour: "i downloaded at 6am , took a nap from 10 am to 1pm , completed the dlc at 1:30. how can they put out dlc that should have been in the game , and charge 10 bucks ? come on !!!! fallout 3 was better ! more content would have been nice . all it is is the rest of Caesar's legion story and enough with the hints , it builds excitement , like i had for this dlc and then you get a mediocre dlc at best . shame on you Bethesda , SHAME !!"
If you could have just been exaggerating but still it does not take 30 minutes my friend, unless you came across that stupid glitch where it sends you to the ending, which I haven't encountered. And these are a few honest questions: Did you like Dead Money? And Did you like the Fallout 3 DLC? Did you complain about the length of the relatively short add-ons The Pitt, Operation Anchorage, and Mothership Zeta?

1. Saying anything over and over just makes eyes roll.
2. This was definitely an Obsidian venture, considering the story driven gameplay, and the minimal use of sandbox features, which I'd directly opposed to the typical Beth game.
3. I've spent about 4 hours on it and am not yet finished. I've been bighorn hunting and seeing how long of a shot I can make doing it.

Ok, now I respect your opinion lol. Those three Fallout 3 DLC were incredibly short and was wondering why the hell I bought them in the first place. I'm not saying that they weren't fun, but all three DLC could easily be completed in less than 6 hours. And did you explore the surrounding areas like the caves and look for goodies? I think that is what adds to the value of the DLC. I didn't think Dead Money was short at all, and I didn't look for the extra goodies like the snowglobe or the weapon mods! I think people who play solely the quests are probably going to be disappointed but those who take the time to explore and enjoy the scenery will love this DLC. My jaw dropped when I first came to Zion (I play on PC) because the place looks beautiful and it sure as hell looks alot better than Dead Money and the Mojave Wasteland. If you dislike the quests, then you should at least acknowledge the beauty and work that was put into design of Zion National Park.

I agree that this was slightly a rip off for me the scenery was awesome and Joshua was epic I just couldn't see this being worth $10 it just didn't satisfy me.
There wasnt any real challenge most of the time the white legs completely miss me and id just 3 shot them with my hunting rifle or the .45 pistol there were no new creatures or anything this was mostly a goodie basket for me with the loot.
I found every place I missed 1 survival bag somewhere I didn't rush and i still completed this in like 3-4 hours while still posting on here for people that didnt mind spoilers about the story and about graham and where stuff was.
That's just what I think and your welcome to disagree with it but I just hope that OWB and LR are alot better than this.

The end quest was horrendous! The storyline felt sloppy. Sorry, but this has to be one of the worst dlc's I've ever played!

But Obsidian neither Bethesda work only for you, if Dead Money neither Honest Hearts wasnt for your tastes, then sorry, but none of the 2 companies will ever get the idea of only one person,

(And I really dont see how you can make a difference between Fallout and TES, two different games with different genres and history)

i hate to complain, because i am really enjoying HH, but after all of this time it took them to release it, and there's still glitches all over the place? crazy.

I don't know why these people are [censored]ing because they could wait to hear reviews before buying it. Also at least they can play it where I can't because of the psn store. I know I will like HH whether it's 4 or 20 hours long.

For $10 I don't expect an entire game, I expect additional things to do in the game universe. This is what I got with Dead Money and Honest Hearts. And, really, I liked the story lines for both of them.

I wouldn't be put off with paying $20 - $30 for a longer, more complete, adventure.

I just finished it and I started playing it at 4 pm and it's 2:45 am now, so what's that? ten hours and forty-five minutes? seems like a pretty good length of time for a dlc, and I did all the endings, sidequests, and exploration of zion. Seems like a fairly good length dlc.

So it took 4 and a half hours I'm assuming that was just the main quest with no side exploration thats really not to bad dead money goes at about the same time if you just do the main quest and rush through it, play time is highly dependant on playstyle so it could easily be longer for a lot of people.

Yes, I saw this same thread about DM, and when I finally got it (PS3)
it know I had 8-11 hours in it.

I don t believe these threads at all. Fo3 and fo nv are not made to blow through. He had to have done it as fast as possible and looked at nothing.

shorter than the pitt

ohhh no. This makes it seem bad.......... The pitt was the shortest easiest dlc of them all IMO. I still had over 5 hours in it though.

Operation Anchorage was by far the shortest of any FO3 DLCs. The Pitt was pretty short but there was still plenty to discover vs. OA where there was basically nothing to find aside from intel until the DLC was completely finished.

On topic I felt that Honest Hearts was a decent DLC, I got about 4 1/2 or 5 hours out of it and I came prepared with plenty of firepower. I've personally played alot of games that costed $60 that took me that long or just slightly longer.

I looked at it this way. When i work if i go out to eat i spend maybe 10 bucks and enjoy it for 30 mins. I was off today so i transfered that 10 to content for a game....i enjoyed it for about 4 hours. In my mind that was 10 bucks spent better than if i had been at work. besides i still have to do side exploration and find all the survivor terminals.

No sir. Obsidian made fo nv with only the help of fo3 engine.

Obsidian devs are big boys. They really don t need Bethesdas help.

Bethesda may or may not have help implement it into the engine, but the story is all Obsidian. They have people there that did fo2.

They don t need Bethesda to do a fo game. This I m sure is why Bethesda brought them on.

Obsidian developed the DLC, Bethesda are the publishers, so far the only thing that you can blame Bethesda is the huge delay

I thought it was made clear like 1000 times that they wanted to fix the game before putting out the dlc. I m glad they fixed the game.

You can t blame Bethesda for anything but lack of fast info.

1. Yup.

2. I love NV but they could have used a little help from the Beth guys when it came to a few things since they're more familiar with it I'm sure that alot of bugs could have been avoided if they'd had more Beth oversight from people who had experience with the engine.

3. They have a small amount of the guys that did FO2.
