I have a magic ring that I stole from Idolaf Battle-Born after I killed him and enchanted it with his own soul and named it "Idolaf's gift".
I made a steel mace with absorb health and stamina and named it "Succubus".
My bow is named after a character from Viktor Rybegs novel "Singoalla" (a gypsy princes) and my dagger with soul trap and absorb health is called "Sorgbarn" (as in child of sorrow, also from Rybegs novel, it was the name of Erlands and Singoallas son).
My woodcutters axe is called "Lumberjack" and my pickaxe "Pickaxe of destiny".
My boots with sneaking and carrying capacity are called "Sneakers".

Most times I try to craft my weapons from scratch or take them from defeated enemies (like the Ironborn in Song of ice and Fire) and enchant them with their own souls.

Well, my fire dagger/sword is usually named Blaze and my storm dagger/sword is named Blister. So they are side by side when I hit Q and I don't have to scroll down to quickly equip them. LOL
My bows are Blazing Bow and Soul Stealer.

I usually just call it by the enchanted skill/attribute name, to easily find it in my inventory, like Ring of Alchemy and Ring of Lockpicking etc lol

I have a bow called Faendal's Fire.

And I used to have a warhammer called Cow.

I'm not really sure why.

I have a daedric dagger that I use in tight spots designed to work in conjunction with Azura's Star.
It has fiery soul trap and absorb health on it and Ive called it 'Azura's servant'.
The backstory I have invented for the dagger is that Azura gets a little bit more powerful every time the Star houses and is cleansed of a soul, it works like water on a prayer wheel.

My main character, Mazurga gra-Uzgul, enchants jewelry named "Mazurga's Gift" for her spouse. Other than that, I'm sticking with 'Orcish [Weapon] of [Effect]" for her named stuff. My mage's items are things like Char and Terror, or Spiritstab. With my Casanova-type character, I'm just making a bunch of gold rings with a 1% Illusion enchantment with women's names...so he's got Camilla, Lydia, and Saadia so far

I have an enchanted suit of glass armor that has 40 points of fortify health called "Glassuntheit."

I call my glass stuff Pyrex.

Mostly so I can find it in my inventory.

I usually try to name them in such a way that everything I wear together will stick next to each other when my gear is sorted in alphabetical order - all my +smithing stuff will be named "smith's apron", "smith's ring", etc. My main armor, ring, and amulet will either all start with the same name ("Bloodplate Cuirass, "Bloodplate Gauntlets", etc.) or at least the same first two letters.

My gauntlets, gloves, and bracers are usually enchanted with Fortify Archery, so I refer to them as yugake (what Japanese Kyudo archers called the shooting-hand glove)...Orcish Yugake, Glass Yugake, etc. Other than that, I always forget to rename my items haha

I've been enchanting fire dmg on my weapons lately, so I've been using names like Char, Ember, Singe, etc.

Here is how I sort my items and keep unique name:

Depending upon what type of item and where I want it in the items list, I will first asign it a letter then a dash then the name. This way I can name it whatever I want but still organize it. This is how I organized my spell lists in Oblivion as well.

Example:
Z - Conan's Helmet of Endless Beer
Z - Fists of the Nord Star
Z- Girdle of Greater Girating

Then if I decide I want something to appear earlier I just use Y- [Item Name], or if I want something to appear later in the list I use Zz - [Item Name]. It's a bit OCD but it works.

I made a soul stealer dagger and I called it "Now you're inside me"

I really wish you could save sets of clothes and equip them as sets. that would have been a good addition.
