Pre-order and pre-purchases, actually, which makes it much more likely that release is at least within the year. And yeah, the general consensus among fans is that it's either going to be out in June or September(though personally I think it's more like June or late October-early November, since MoP seems to be headed for a septemberish release, and releasing at the same time would seriously screw with gw2's launch).

Regardless, unless a virus destroys half the code for the game or something, it's nearly guaranteed a 2012 launch, considering how much info they're putting out there. The hype they're building would be lucky to last till the end of the year, let alone past that.


Needeless to say, I'm really really looking forward to this game.

Torchlight 2 has been getting so little attention lately I keep forgetting about it. I hope they set a release date soon. It looks like Diablo 3 is coming out earlier though, which is probably not ideal.

Torchlight 2 is a bit under the radar but it's gonna be $20 on release, that'll probably get a lot of word of mouth advertising. Hopefully. I want it to do well.

And to a lesser extent Guild Wars 2. But I'm not really looking forward to it, rather it is the only upcoming game I am aware of that I am considering getting. And even that is mostly just because my brother is almost definitely getting it, and I enjoy playing MMOs with him.

Borderlands 2 is going to be amazing. I just wish I could play it on comp with others.

Dragon's Dogma and Guild Wars 2, assuming the latter is coming out this year. I'm cautiously positive.
