What is your most anticipated game of 2012?

As always, Final Fantasy Versus XIII and The Last Guardian. Unlikely that they'll be out in 2012 though.

Confirmed 2012 released:

I heard a new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. may get released and consoles are a possibility I would pick up a copy.

Unfortunately GSC, the developer, went under. No more S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s :( But there's still Metro, it's pretty similar, but not open world.

I think I heard that they managed to pull through anyways, how old are your bad news?

GTA V!!! Please let it be released in 2012!
GTA V. It has to come out this year, it just has to!
It was mentioned earlier in the thread, but I've also seen the leaked details. They say it will be out in May 2013.

OT: Borderlands 2 is taking most of my 2012 gaming attention.

Aw. Man..
I was considering metro a while back but it's going to be multiplayer, I skipped getting Dead Space2 for that reason even though I loved the first one.

Diablo 3.

If your answer isn't Diablo 3 or Torchlight 2 you should be ashamed of yourself.

I can agree with the Diablo 3 part, it's my most looked forward to game of the decade, not just of this year. But Torchlight 2? Unless they made a fairly serious overhaul to the loot, I'm not interested. It gets ridiculous when you find the same rare/set/unique items at 40 as you did when you were 10, just with the "Epic" moniker added to them. All but the joke items felt stilted and forced to me. On the other hand, I loved the joke sword I found(Don't even remember it's name anymore). It gave "Emo Damage" and all kinds of other hilarious modifiers. Also, quests were kinda redundant as well. Over-all, the original was a decent game, but it could have been a great game if they had just put forth a little bit more effort into it.

Bioshock: Infinite or Mechwarrior: Online. It's a tossup between those two, and Dishonored gets a mention for that game I know nothing about but looks fun regardless.

GW2 doesn't have a certain release in 2012 does it?
pre order is april 10 and it should be released sometime in the next few months after that. pre order comes with your name on the list for any beta testing and when it goes live, we get to start playing 3 days before the rest of the public.

BioShock Infinite, Dishonored, or Metro 2033 Last Light(as long as they don't screw it up)

Isn't it actually called Metro 2034: Last Light? Or did they change the name back to 2033?
