Sorry!

 Bah, no hard feelings.
Actually the main point of my post was the picture.

he once arm wrestled mehrunes dagon for a suit of armor...all four arms....with his tongue.
he challenged Sheogorath to a cheese eating contest. it was a draw.
he used to be an adventurer like you...but then he decided being like you was dull, and became who you want to be.

he is the most interesting mage in the world

Who is Divayth Fyr you ask? Let's just say that when Mannimarco was learning magelight he was crashing a party with summoned dremoras in silly hats.

rofl

Edit: Im roleplaying Nidara Fyr as my final skyrim character for dragonborn. Do you guys think it is too far out to roleplay Divayths bastard daughter?

Also if Fyr is in Dragonborn /Loregasm. He is one of my favorite game characters after 15 years of gaming as a hobby.

A man who has kept himself alive over 4000 years by necromancy. Has a basemant filled with corprus creatures and even has the very last dwermer as a pet. Cloned himself 4 times into very attractive feamles who are his house servents as well as six toys. Been noted in books about daedras in not just 1 but 2 books on the man who know hows to travel planes of oblivion by making ur own portals. The man cjres the harmful side of corprus off the nevarine. Only person who owns a daedric outfit. Gah just all time badass and coolass dunmer.

He's one of the most badass people in all of Tamriel's history. 4000+ year old reclusive Telvanni counselor, collector of Daedric artifacts (Scourge, Daedric Cresent Blade, Cuirass of the Savior's Hide), owner of Morrowind's only complete set of Daedric armor (outside of helm/shield), cared for and befriended the only living Dwemer in existence (at least he was around during Morrowind), ran a corprusarium, literally grew a bunch of "daughters" to live with him, and allowed thieves to freely try to plunder his possessions for entertainment. If they succeeded, they could walk away freely, as the Nerevarine does.

Oh yeah, it's also possible he's explored several planes of Oblivion on his own accord. If he is in Dragonborn, I bet he's the one who figures out how to travel to Hermaeus Mora's realm.
In one of the books about Daedra, he's mentioned as one of the few living mortals to have visited the various Oblivion planes to 'interview' Daedra princes and to have come back.

It's common knowledge that Divayth Fyr would kill ordinary mortal women with his Muatra Milk.

While ordinary mortal womans are killed by his Muatra Milk, his clone wives/daughters are knocked out a few hours.

Yeah, I couldn't remember the exact details about that. I know in other one it talks about how he developed his own system to enter the planes and helped another researcher do the same. Eventually, the other researcher was lost to Apocrypha. Maybe we'll run into him in Dragonborn?

You know I played Morrowind for 8 years, and never knew killing Aryon was apart of the Mages Guild questline. Damn, there's still so many things to discover in that game, after all these years.

Morag Tong and Mages Guild simply have one more quest after MQ is finished.
If Trebonius is alive and you finished his Dwemer quest, he will ask you to kill all the Telvanni Masters in Vvardenfel. Since I always kill that imbecile, I can't even get it :P (nor would I do it... not to mention that in Rise of House Telvanni mod I ordered Mages Guild annihilated, save the Argonian and Edwina)

Its only a part of the questline if you choose to follow mad Trebonius to the end.

The thing is, all quests in TES are canonized and thus completed by someone.

Either way, nobody says that the Telvanni lords will be from TES3. The towers in TES3 are just new colonies, most Telvanni wizard lords lived on the mainland and in Port Telvannis.
Granted, I hope it is Fyr...

Killing him was bad..very bad.At least thats what the popup insinuated in very vague terms like"You have altered the thread of fate do you wish to continue in this world you have just royally jacked over?"

You get that message whenever you kill a character who is part of MQ... no matter how important or unimportant he is.

I officially wants to reinstall Morrowind just to make a mod where you and Divayth Fyr work together to kill stuff... Just random stuff.

He's a legend, and I refused to kill him, the Daedric gear wasn't worth it. I really hope he's back, his insight was refreshing.

IF corprus does make a return in Dragonborn, then i fully expect Fyr or at least one or more of his daughters to be in dragonborn. Thats the only way i can see to explain why corprus beasts would be on solthsiem on the first place.

Baladas or aryon would both be nice to see as well.

I also heard a rumor that the Apprentice in Battlespire (the player character) is actually Divyath fyr when he was younger. But i dont know how credible the rumor is, and i myself havent played battlespire yet, so i cant make any connections.
Can anyone clarify if this is true or not?

Would be pretty awesome. Battlespire was a 'minor' TES game, like Redguard, so people wouldn't complain too much. Plus, they kinda did it before. (Still a chance that Skyrim's Sheogorath is the Champion of Cyrodiil)... Hm... Now, I am thinking about this.

Divyath has over 4 millenia under his belt, the hero of Battlespire was a novice Battlemage sent for his (or her) final tests - I'm not really seeing him in such a position (also, there is the possibility of the hero being female).

Aside from Divayth and speaking of "living gods" does anyone think Vivec will return? They never said what happened to him aside from just disappearing after Destroying the Heart of Lorkahn and preventing the completion of the Akulakahn, he lost his power and left Vivec which put The city in Crisis becaus no one was able to keep the Meteor above the city to maintain floating so they created an Ingenium to stabilize the meteor. The ingenium was destroyed making the meteor crash with all of its original force making the Redmountain Erupt destroying all of Vvardenfell and causing some damage to the rest of the province which we may get to see. they say Vivec just left and disappeared never to be heard of again or he was taken by the Daedric. Also it could be very possible that Divayth Fyr was killed by the eruption who knows I just hope he didnt leave Yagrum Bagarn behind.... I would love to hear some peoples ideas about Vivec though.

Probably not in Oblivion people talked about how the Daedra came and took him so that will most likely be the cannon for Vivec.

I have been hoping for a return of Vivec since Oblivion was announced. He probably has lost most of the power given to him by the Heart by now, but that doesn't make his perspective any less interesting or relevant.
