Why is Serana so nice?

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 5:28 pm

Lot of theorizing and critical anolysis going on in here about Serana. And yes, she definitely acts taken with you. But if she had a "few hundred years" to mature before changing, someone has to answer me this: why the hell does she act like a hyper kid in a candy shop?! She's way worse than a kid at grandma's house. She walks over to this, sits down, promptly gets back up, shoves her way ahead of you to use an alchemy lab (what the hell is she making anyway? Is there some kind of connection to this and the failure of them to deliver your lab in Breezehome?).

She really irked me when I was ready to do some smithing, all my smithing gear on and ready to go, I drank a potion, and she steps up to use it, pushing me back and wasting half my potion time. I gave her all the gear she uses, what the hell is she sharpening?! That sword and bow are legendary. I think she's cool, but she makes me want to tear my hair out sometimes. I find myself wondering what ingredients to mix for a Rydlin potion around her. For the love of god will you just sit still!

I have a theory. I think she likes you so much because you don't snap and stuff her into a barrel. I cannot help but feel there is more to why a mother would put her into a coffin for a few millenia than just trying to stop Harkon's plan. An extended time out maybe? Address this in an update Bethesda. Chill her out, or let us blow skooma in her face and mellow her for a time.

It's all that boiling vampire blood probably makes her agitated.

I'm glad that word was there.

But I actually like the way she interacts with the environment, it makes her character feel "alive".

I just checked on the new alchemy ingredients. Sadly, there were none with "stop ADHD" effect, so it looks like hooking her on skooma and becoming her dealer is the only way. It's for her own good.

Lets put you into tight square box for few milenias. And we'll see how you act once your out. This part of her behavior is totally understandable.

That and she's been blood starved for all that time as well.

That was pure win. Thank you, you have made my day brighter, lol.

Also, have you considered a pair of boots with perma-paralysis effect? She would have to put them on sitting down, and then she isn't going anywhere. Ah. Wait. If I remember correctly Vampires have 100% resistance. Indeed it looks like skooma is the only option.

I look forwards to the PC release of Dawnguard. =D
