Action 52 is the worst game ever made. Fifty-two games on a single cartridge and none of them allowed you to have fun.
Never played it.

I'm willing to bet the reason so many people are listing universally loved games is probably due more to disappointment rather than much being wrong with the games on a design level (I even said Oblivion disappointed me, not that I think it's a terrible game). That and people like me are
extremely careful about the games we buy, so coming across a game that's genuinely bad is a rare occurrence indeed.
Another point, I didn't grow up so early in gaming that I had virtually no access to reviews and a plethora of information regarding each game I would potentially own. I'm aware that in the old days, buying a game was somewhat of a gamble. Well, it isn't much of a gamble anymore, and it wasn't much of one when I started gaming. This is why when somebody asks me what the "worst" game I've ever played was, it's likely going to be one of the games I heavily researched and was 100% certain I would enjoy (but ended up not).
