You recieve Valdr's Lucky Dagger from the Dungeon quest Hunter & Hunted at Moss Mother Cavern near Falkreath.

This dagger has a 25% chance critical hit (I think) but critical hits seem quite easy to come by anyway for my char so I wanted to try and upgrade it and enchant to make it extra special. But the game won't let you touch it unlike silver swords that you can't upgrade but CAN enchant.

Is this because it got overlooked, would make it too powerful or just that it is a below average reward, not worth the effort? (To me at least)

but the cloned Letrush showed up right after I finished his quest within minutes of witnessing that. At first there was one, stuck in the ground,

I got the half in the ground LeTrush outside of Whiterun near the Khajit camp. I sneaked until I was not seen & shot him with an arrow. He jumped up out of the ground & ran away screaming. No guards came after me, and I received no bounty. I went on in the game and a day or 2 later he was back but standing on the ground. When I'd walk by he'd say "dont hurt me please" for a few days, then after a while he just acted normal again. I've not seen any clones though.

My step father now has six Letrush guys standing outside the city and yes, one of them is in the ground. I haven't experienced this though. But I haven't started his quest. He tried to kill them all once but as he was riding off up the road another Letrush guy was running past him down the road toward the stables! Now he just leaves them alone and laugh's nervously when he passes them, wondering what it's going to do to his game and thinking about his state of mind if he has to start the game over.... again.

This also applies to Alvor, the Riverwood Blacksmith. He died in a dragon attack, and his corpse has laid outside the Riverwood Trader now for the last few in-game months.

I have a corpse in Winterhold dead on the steps of the tavern there. The name of the corpse is just "Breton" and was a victim of the 1st dragon attack there. Also, as I posted earlier the leader of Red Eagle Redoubt has left his bloated stinking corpse around for several RL weeks, and Lord knows how many Skyrim months. Why the foresworn bother to respawn there is beyond me. The stench must be unreal :yuck:

One "bug" that annoys me above all others (because I foolishly tramp around with my pockets full of loot or crafting stuff I've gathered) is that you can ride around over-encumbered on your horse who is quite happy to carry your weight, but can't get carried around in a cart because you are too heavy.

I know it's a fast travel thing and I accept you shouldn't be able to fast travel overencumbered. I'm also very happy my horse will bear me swiftly to where I need to go (until it quite often gets suddenly and regularly killed in the middle of nowhere.) But for the sake of common sense, couldn't the fast travel restriction be removed for the cart?

It doesn't even tell you in a message that you can't travel. (The actual bug bit) I had to figure out for myself why we weren't going anywhere. You just sit there like a dummy while the driver prattles on! I think it wouldn't overbalance anything, as horse and carts are few and far between and not all cities have them.

I had that issue on my last play through. I have that quest lodged in my quest list but there is no dialoge option to give him the scales and bones.

Regarding your blades issue... You have recruited them right?

May or may not be a bug. Despite checking every shop in every hold several times, I have yet to encounter a Regenerate Stamina effect in this playthrough. Level 66 And I have never seen it.

EDIT: After doing a circuit of every hold several times, I finally found one. I found 15x of everything else other than Banish, but i found it.

I was talking to vex to train my Lockpick up to 90 however upon the third time, she took my money, The counter went to 5/5 times trained, but I did not level up to 90. Loaded my save and tried again, same thing.

Also, I went to Volskygge, Cleared the Dungeon, only to get to a word wall that will not give me a word. I go there, I hear the sound, but no glowing word, and nothing happens. So I lost out on a Word, and I cannot collect the Dragon Priest mask, since he does not come out of his coffin until the word is learned. This makes three words of power I cannot learn due to two different glitches in a single playthrough.

Also Add Lisbet's Dibella statue to the list of non-removable quest items.

I know this is in the list but ever since the last patch, my item menu has been EXTREMELY laggy. The magic menu seems fine but if I go to items it'll take upwards to 20 seconds just load my items, then if I go into weapons it takes forever. It's pretty much made the game unplayable for me which svcks because I'm level 38 and have like 110 hours into it already. My favorites menu also does the same thing, before the patch it was near instant now it's just ridiculous.

Does anyone know any fixes for this, or if Bethesda plans on fixing it in a new patch? It's extremely frustrating and I don't want to make a new game just yet, I haven't even beaten the main quest line with this character.

Having issues with

1. "Repairing the phial" not updating when I take the briarheart.
2. Misc objective "take dragon bone and dragon scale to Esbern" not giving dialogue options.
3. Misc objective for Maven Blackbriar, no marker for the missing quill, should be in the lake
4. Purity of Revenge didn't start (I know this has been reported)

After I report back to Jarl Balgruuf and he gives me a new title of Thane in the Dragon Rising quest it always freezes up. I read that if the guard wasn't in the convo you couldn't progress. Is the guard supposed to be in the convo when you tell Jarl you are a dragonborn? I really would like to progress :)

Ebony Blade (Daedric Artifact) is bugged. It will not stay on a weapon rack at all, maybe it has a mind of its own since it has a 'hunger' for blood lol. We shall see if the same thing happens in a display case.

Got a new one...

Angeline Morrard - Angeline's Aromatics

She's the opposite of Ghorza gra-Bagol in Markarth. Angeline has the dialogue to invest in her business, but it never clears, and she never has more than the 600 gold she has before you can invest. I've given her money several times to make sure, but it's made no difference.

Only think I am wondering is, many times I go to her shop and she's not behind the counter, she's in a room just behind that area. She's sitting down drinking, and I can transact business with her while she's there. Both times I have invested with her there, rather than in the front area behind the counter. Don't know if that makes any difference. Maybe someone can try & post the result?

Probably known and reported already. Deep-in-his-cups, the argonian who shows up after the Daedric quest A Night To Remember, respawns over and over.. I've killed the guy umpteen times and payed him 750 once..(I've never payed 10,000.) He just doesn't stay dead.

Edit: Oh.. and after the civil war if you side with the imperials , Stormcloak camps are still there and even though they will attack after a bit of yelling "hey, get out of here." They still have invincible leaders. They also still wander the roads like nothing ever happened.

I've got one that I didn't see on the main list at the top:

The quest involves the Student Mage named "Nirya" at the Winterhold college. She is attached to a quest I received very early on in the game that never went anywhere. I still have it in my unfinished MISC. quest section and I have tried to advance it several times since with no success.

Found this on the Elder Scrolls Wiki, so at least I know I am not the only 360 gamer to have this bug with this early quest. They report it as a platform wide bug.

"Being prompted to join the College even after achieving the rank of Arch-Mage. Activating the quest-follower targets Nirya as Quest-goal with no way to end this miscellaneous quest; the conversational options stay the same."

Basically she has two lines in her dialog box, and neither of them have anything to do with a quest line. In my case as well, she just stands at the entrance to the Hall of Elements where the door to the Arch-Mage room is. She never moves from that spot EVER. She has been standing there since I first started playing the game. I am now at level 53 and have put about 110 hours into the game, avoiding all bugged quests. Nirya has never moved from that same spot ever no matter what time of day I visit the college.

I have a similar issue with a Bard's Quests. I have a Misc. to "Investigate the Bard's College", but selecting the quest does nothing. No marker or anything and none of the Bard NPCs say anything different than without the quest being chosen and activated. The head of the Bard's College is also carrying a torch around with him at all times, even when sitting inside the Bard's house.

Two bugs:

* Windhelm: exterior of Shatter-Shield home is bugged. I can walk through it and off the map, but can get back onto the map. It does not go to the interior because of course that's a different area. This is on the north wall near the front door.

* Riften: Prior to Civil War -- I am Thane. I purchased the house, then talked to the Jarl again, and was not given a housecarl. I still don't have a housecarl. Oh well.

* You know that dog Meeker? His owner was dead, right. I found his owner's journal. The dog came home. The dog followed me. He was a nice dog. He got in the way of my sword when wolves attacked and now I have a 40 bounty in the Reach. Apparently his tag wasn't changed and I "murdered" a dog in front of a witness which happened to be a bird. Now the only way to pay off that is to serve my life in Cidna mines. I guess it's time to make Markarth a quiet mountain redneck town. or avoid the place like a plague.

I've got this one too. In my Misc. quest section, the line says "Return to Jarl in Riften". When I get into the throne room, she has the quest marker over her head, but she doesn't offer any dialog box, and just says random comments when you click on her. I've had this one stuck in my list for several weeks now. Tried it numerous times trying to clear out my list, but no go.

I think I was made Thane since I was allowed to buy the house, but I am not sure if I was made Thane or not since no one calls me that in Riften.

Been told by the Blades to kill Paarthurnax I cannot. His health drops and the bar disappears but he doesn't react and I cant talk to Esbern or Delphine until I kill him (main quest completed)

Just signed up to post my current problem (and I don't think it's on the list on the front page).

I believe it's the Regain Eastmarch quest for the Civil War storyline. I chose to join the Imperials, and was supposed to go to Fort Amol and defeat stormcloaks (from 100% to 0%). My fellow soldiers appear, and we run to the fort, however when we arrive there are no stormcloaks (it appears as though some witches or necromancers already defeated the stormcloaks, but there are none of those around either), and as such it's impossible to complete the story and continue. It's very frustrating, as I've tried everything I can think of. There are no solutions to this when I search for it, and it seems many have this problem too.

The other bug was already posted, in that the Jarl of Riften (the alternative jarl, not the default one, do not wish to spoil their name), will not give me my housecarl, even though I've already finished 3/3 "help the people of riften" sidequests and spoken to the jarl. The jarl tells me that they do not want me to be competition, so it'd be better to make me their thane instead, and promises me all the perks without actually giving them to me.

These bugs are happening to me on my xbox.

decided to to save before i started the civil war quests. Completed the stormcloak side first then decide to save at the end of that one. Then completed the legion side of it and now there is no jarl in Windhelm but all of the stormcloak jarls are there. There are no gaurds in the city and candlehearth is always locked. I am going to redo the quest line to see if it fixes itself and put a jarl in place so i can buy the house in windhelm.

Some dragons dont have souls, usually the ones that dont are the static ones if they are the exact same type as one killed there prior. If its a random dragon I dont believe thats normal (though am not positive as it has been stated that not all dragons give souls)

I'm having a problem with the Markarth bug. I can't enter the city without the guards attacking. I did the forsworm conspiracy and now I have like a 13000 bounty on my head and it's ticking me off lol. I have a xbox 360. How do you fix this so that you can go to jail or pay off your fine. When you talk to the guards the conversation just loops and you can't get out of it.
