Xbox 360 Bug Report Topic v3

(xbox 360)Hello, I just wanted to post that Im having issues completing the "Loud and Clear" Quest for thieves guild. It asks for you to burn three hives and no more, I cannot burn more than two. Tried reloading back to before I was given the quest, still only allowed two to burn, Really hoping to see this fixed! Other than that great game so far! Thnx :banana:

"Dragon Rising"- Used shout on a citizen in Whiterun while on the way back to report to Jarl Balgruuf and now unable to enter Dragonreach to report to Jarl Balgruuf even after being killed multiple times and paying the bounty. NPC's in the Dragonreach attack as soon as I enter the hall.

My alchemy ingredients and my enemies respawning are getting worse, there is areas with no plant life anywhere and the areas outside of dungeons have no enemies what so ever they have yet to respawn, its been several months to over a year in game time and ny enemies and ingredients have yet to respawn.

-During "Throat of the World", after I demonstrated the Fire Breath shout to Paarthurnax I initiated a conversation with him to continue the dialogue, but during said conversation he started flying upward while rotating in a circle. He kept on spinning upward up until I can no longer hear him but the dialogue still continues. After that, he never moved to the nearby word wall, he just kept on spinning upward.

Same here on all three of my play throughs

Followers:

-Sacrificing Njada Stonearm during "Boethiah's Calling" may cause her to respawn later on.

Misc:

-Showing Reyda's Necklace to Wilhelm will cause him to spout the same dialogue Narfi would say when you show it to him. Seriously, Besthesda, you guys actually recorded that? Were you planning on having Wilhelm being possessed by Narfi's ghost, but decided to scrap the whole thing?

-Speaking of Narfi, I dunno if this is a bug or not, but after finishing his sidequest he talks normally going all "My favorite drinking buddy! Let's go get some mead". And not in his usual crazy voice, too. This is on par with that beggar woman in Oblivion breaking character when you talk to her.

There is a bug in dead man's respite, once you complete the quest (king oalfs or something's verse) and the ghost leads you to the door that was previously locked by a magic, the ghost opens the door then you get to a dragon claw door, the rings on this door WON'T move. The only way to fix it is so load a previously saved game because there is no other way to get out of this dungeon if you can't get through the dragon claw door. After reloading a previously saved game I didn't even go back. But I've searched online and even some entering for the second time still encounter the same bug.

i own Breezehome in Whiterun on two files, and neither of them allow me to use the weapon racks, display cases (besides dagger display cases) or shield plaques, i also bought Hjerim in Windhelm to no avail, and the only working weapon rack i have found thus far is in the Dawnstar Sanctuary for the Dark Brotherhood.

I am also unable to use the weapon racks in breezehome and hjerim, although I can use the display cases in hjerim, when I leave and come back in everything I put in those cases is on the floor.

I am also unable to use the weapon racks in breezehome and hjerim, although I can use the display cases in hjerim, when I leave and come back in everything I put in those cases is on the floor.

I am able to use the Weapon Rack in Breezehome, as of January 31st...I know they did not work prior but that was the date in which I finally noticed the crosshair selection on them. Shield / Trophy plaques in Breezehome and Hjerim still not working for me....did not test Display Cases...

Post patch 1.4:

-Steel Swords (so far) won't display properly in ANY weapon rack.

I put it on a display plaque on the wall (both the single-display and the weapon-and-shield combo), they hover above the plaque.

I put it on a weapon rack, they're displayed higher than any other weapon I put on there.

I put it in a display case, the sword is misplaced so far to the right, the hilt is sticking out of the case.

The Elemental fury sound bug is still there and driving me insane. Very disappointed that this wasn′t fixed in the new update, have been waiting forever for the update to make my game playable again but to no avail.

Another one of these "features" that makes me wonder if its delibirate or not, are the items in the rooms you rented in inns. I mean, what's the point of putting food in there for the guests, if the innkeeper doesn't want them to get "stolen"?

At new inns you are a stranger so its stealing to take that stuff. However stay there a few times and talk to the landlord and you become "friendly" with them and the items are free to be taken without issue. I can infact walk in to a number of stores and inns and take almost anything on display thats not overly expensive wtihout issue because I am "friendly" with the store/inn owner.

- frequent freezing (only every 10 - 15 minutes if I avoid the following)

Freezing caused by:
Armor--
-Equipping/buying/selling ebony armor. opening chests with an ebony armor drop, scrolling over the WORD "ebony armor" in inventory, or attempting to remove it from Whiterun home storage (does not include ebony gauntlets, boots, daggers, & swords).
- Once I deposited my, thieves & shrouded brotherhood gear into my Whiterun home downstairs cupboard, if I scroll over the items in inventory, it freezes. I returned to the guilds a picked up the spare armor laying around. I keep the news sets on me so as no to lose them again. Scrolling over the shrouded set freezes the screen periodically.
Locations--
- Discovering caves or shacks.
- Opening the door to Ochendor during the "the only cure ", could not complete.
- Looting the chest after killing "The Caller" during the "Hitting The Books" quest (works of I leave the helmet on the bookshelf and the armor in the chest)
- Saarthal: fast traveled, fought a yeti outside of saarhal, once defeated it fell through the ground then the game froze (only started in this area after the college quests were started)
- Using the anvil in the Pale Imperial Camp
- Walking from Pale Imperial camp to shipwreck north of the camp if I stray from the "preformed" dirt path)
- any attempt to reach the "dead man's respite" for the "tending the flames" quest. Could possibly be caused by nearing shacks nearby.
- some destinations can be reached only after freezing upon initial attempt (the sundered towers, yngol barrows, the pale imperial camp, Saarthal)
- opening the chest in Snow Veil Sanctum during the "speaking with silence" quest (2/14)

NPC--
- attempting to sell to the blacksmith in solitude

Cannot fast travel or walk to: as of 2/9/12 patch
- Saarthal
- Winterhold
- dead man's respite
- Folgunthur, cannot complete "forbidden legend"

As of 2/16:
- fast traveling to the thieves guild and riften (stable exempt) once inside Riften via the stables, if I enter a building and attempt to exit the game immediately freezes.
- rift imperial camp cannot complete "regain the rift".
- "Boethiah's Calling": during this quest I had Barabas as a follower. once I get to the 5th part (slaying the other cultists) he was turned against me. Being that he is immortal, I was unable to complete the quest. I will of course send him away and then complete the quest. Not sure if that is a bug, but I thought it odd an immortal follower would be turned.
- opening the chest on top of the "Rift Watchtower".
- opening the door to "Treva's Watch". cannot complete "Striking the Heart".
- "Missing In Action": after fast traveling from Rimerock Burrow and walking north to complete the quest, I consistently freeze before I can discover the new location.
- the chest next to wall in which you learn the word dismay: fear. Which was fund during the "pieces of the past" at "Dead Crone Rock".
- upon entering "Cracked Tusk Keep", cannot complete "Pieces of the Past" quest.
- upon arriving at "Knifepoint Ridge" cannot complete "Boethiah's Calling".
- looting Safia after killing her for the Dark Brotherhood
- trying to sell "worn shrouded Armor/legs/hands/etc." which I believe I picked up during my quest to kill Cicero
- attempting to enter the "Sleeping Giant Inn" in Riverwood starts an endess smokey loading screen (waiting over 40 minutes). Cannot complete the " Diplomatic Immunity" quest.
- "To kill an Empire" After killing the Emperor's decoy, I was unable to fast travel because "guards were chasing me" even though I had kill both the guards near the kill and Maro's guards outside. I was still unable to fast travel even after I had run a large distance away. Any attempt to walk the entire way consistently causes freezing. Both wheni cut my own path though the wildnerness and when I follow the roads. Unable to complete quest.
- entering hag's end

When I attempted to start a new game on an entirely different console, it literally froze 3 times just in the beggining prisoner sequence.


From the start of the game, it has frozen 14 times before I could reach Whiterun for the first time. Honestly at this point I'm frustrated that I've wasted so much money on a game that I CANNOT PLAY! I'm done playin until Bethesada fixes these BASIC issues. I have never ever had such an issue with freezing before. It's ridiculous.

Here's the post 1.4 bugs I discovered within minutes of booting up:

-No Quest fixes for Quests stranded in logbook, i.e. Skald, Angeline's Daughter

-Windhelm house broken to the point where it is unusable. Weapon racks, dagger racks, all unusable.

-Mannequins still don't display some headgear

- Cant select most options for quests within logbook, leaving player unable to see destinations and such.

-Essential Items still stuck in inventory post quest.

Sigh.. Thing is, is that I know I'll have to add to this.

I'm still having the bug on "Joining the Legion" where I clear out Fort Hrragstad and the legion moves in, but I never get credit and can't complete the quest. I've already had the game sitting on my shelf for a month at this point ... guess it's time to cross my fingers and wait for another month.

All Homes:

-Certain weapons placed on the weapon plaque (the 2 weapons+shield one) won't display properly, particularly the left side. I've tried this with daedric swords, orcish swords, and even a woodcutter's axe, which merely floats far away from the plaque.

Elisif The Fair is missing from her castle quest elisif's task says shes in the field outside white run when you go there it says shes in solitude i completed the stormcloak questline she was in blue palace up until i took over solitude and she hasnt been seen sinse then.

-After finishing the Civil War questline (I joined the Imperials), I suddenly got a misc. objective stating I should report to the Jarl of Whiterun, but when I talk to him, nothing happens. No new dialogue options, no events, nothing. I started the Civil War questline after finishing the main questline.

Okay, I found out why I got this one. Turns out that before finishing the quest "Battle for Whiterun (Imperial side)", reporting to General Tulius BEFORE reporting to Balgruuf the Greater, the misc. objective would appear but the Jarl doesn't have any new dialogue, making the objective impossible to remove.

This might be a terribly specific problem I'm having but here goes:

For the quest Ill Met By Moonlight, I waited for Sinding to transform but he did not escape. I left and followed the quest markers back to the prison after going to Bloated Man's Grotto I talking to the Hunter who then died. I tried killing Sinding but after he died I was not given the option to skin him or anything. Now I'm stuck with the cursed ring and no way to get it off.

When the Wisps explode after I kill the Wispmother, sometimes the wisps' cores remain floating in the air, unable to be picked up.

A few bugs after 1.4.

Enemies still never respawn in front if their respective dungeons and I have waited over thirty days in game time. It makes traveling boring and also not very dangerous when I am out exploring and it makes the world feel dead in certain areas.

My alchemy ingredients do not respawn ever, there is random plants as I travel that have yet to respawn, there is clusters of plants around the land that have yet to respawn, then in Solitude the entire walkway to the Blue Palace where the plants are supposed to be never respawn, then by Honeyside in Riften no plants have respawned. Then in Whiterun no plant in that city has respawned.

Then there is the exploding item hug that makes decorating your house impossible that has stir yet to be resolved.

There is also a bug in your inventory that makes it skip around as you buy and sell your items, if your in one item it jumps to something completely different it does this also when you store your items.
