I believe this is a quest that doesnt appear in the log however, its broken all the same.

I got this quest at the same time as "Coyotes" from Captain James. It involves an investigation into a local gambler called Keith cheating other down and out folk out of their caps.

Upon quizzing Keith and pasing a speech check, I gained some evidence from him.

I returned to captatin James who asked me to accompany him to assist with his arrest of Keith for a few extra caps.

Entered the building with the Captain, but he didn't appear on the otehr side of the door, he appeared in the room where Keith keeps his marked deck of cards, but did not arrest him or start the dialog to complete the quest. So I am unable to complete this particular quest.

The only huge bug I've encountered is the one where you're waiting for Hardin to take over the BOS and he never does (trust me, he never does when the glitch happens despite waiting months in game and doing dozens of side quests). If they don't patch this soon I'm gonna be pretty upset because i want to complete for the republic part II mission and continue the main quest without destroying the BOS.

I was curious as to why he literally never takes it over. He said "come back ina few days" which ended up being a few weeks, with still no results.

Here is another minor bug for the list, i didnt see it on the list.
Sometimes taking just one chem results in you becoming addicted to it?
(And no i didnt take a similar chem a couple of hours after another, it was one turbo in one month game time)
Will keep adding bugs as i come across them, which is a becoming quite a few but it might help getting the patch out this year?

Not sure but it might be related to SPECIAL..if maybe your endurance is low you may suffer addiction easier.

Hi me again!

Whilst avoiding the main quest as it corrupts my saves I have been doing all the side quests.

After killing a guard at Gun Runners, ED-E plays that stupid danger tune everytime I zone, yay for fucking random annoying bugs

You should add to the "Still in the Dark" brotherhood quest bug. The player shouldn't be able to do both the Hardin and the McNamara quest lines, but the game somewhat allows you to do so. If you do this, both Hardin and McNamara won't talk to the player anymore, no matter how much time the player waits. From Fallout Wiki:

Helping Hardin to take over the chapter and repairing the filtration system are intended to be mutually exclusive quests. You must pick one or the other, with Hardin's route being easier but resulting in less faction rep (the average player ending up at "accepted") and McNamara's being harder but leaving the average player at "liked." Note also that the quests following their transitions are completely different.
[...]
However, there is a bug that allows the player to seemingly complete both options. For this error state to occur, you must tell Hardin about the "Chain that Binds" but NOT tell him about McNamara's orders to find scouts/paladins/filtration parts. The player can then turn in the filtration parts, tell McNamara you've turned in the parts, and finally tell Hardin about the orders. This is the only order of events that works, as the "Chain that Binds" dialogue options disappear from Hardin after turning in the filtration parts.
This route generates more immediate XP, but leaves the two NPCs in an error state. They will, for the rest of the game, both only tell the player to come back later. This prevents you from continuing on to the next part in the chain. (Confirmed PC,ps3)
Note that both legitimate options will result in a brief period wherein the player cannot speak to their elder of choice, but this does not mean that they're bugged - leave the cell and wait for a few days to ensure they've made the transition.
[...]
After fixing the air filtration system, and then helping Hardin oust McNamara, you will not be able to speak to either of them forever. Hardin will keep saying he will have his hands full for a few days, and McNamara will keep on saying he must prepare a defense, but no matter how long you wait they will keep saying the same things. Killing Hardin while hidden will not make anyone hostile, but McNamara will still be unable to speak to you, and killing McNamara will cause the Brotherhood become hostile, including Hardin. This means the only way to get Power Armour Training will be from the For Auld Lang Syne quest.

Xbox 360 bug: attempting to heal Boone with the companion wheel (stimpak option) instantly kills him. Occurs every time I try to heal him.

The list has been updated.

I dont know if this has been mentioned but, when I was doing Wild Card: Change in Management, i snuck in the restricted area and once i killed/disabled Mr. House, and not killing any robots, Jane and Victor are gone, so I don't get 2000 caps per snowglobe :( And, Victor, the most awesome character in the game is gone.

I don't think this is a bug, just a design choice. Getting rid of Mr. House makes you lose his bots and the ability to sell the snowglobes since Jane was buying them for Mr. House anyway.

Here is another minor bug for the list, i didnt see it on the list.

Again, I don't think this is a bug. According to the Vault, you can become addicted to anything from the first try, but the odds this happens are extremely low for anything but alcohol. You just had bad luck.

There's an unconfirmed solution to this bug. This is uncofirmed because I'm trying this "solution", but after the first dialogue between Veronica and McNamara nothing's changed – in my game. I will see if the second dialogue between the companion and the elder will "fix" the bug.
I hope these are useful info. :)

Unfortunately this method didn't work in my game, so I cannot confirm its effectiveness.

Location: Mojave Outpost. I cant reach it anymore after entering Nipton Town Hall, the game crashes (with or without fast travel from any location). I dont know if it's important, but the bug (with many others, like freeze after few minutes of gameplay, npc that disappears and other) appears after downloading a little patch (3mb).

I have the Italian version.

Try to remove the game from the HD, play only from the disc and reinstall but nothing happens.

ps: i apologize for my bad english.

edit: this is the sequence [minor spoiler]

1. discovered Mojave Outpost and took the quest Keep Your Eyes on the Prize
2. went to Nipton and talked with Boxcars
3. returned to Mojave Outpost
4. again to Nipton, talked to Vulpes and took the quest Cold, cold Heart, explored the Town Hall, then shut down my xbox
5. power up my console with the network up, update the console AND the game, restart the game and play few minutes
6. fast travel to Mojave: CRASH. Restart, retry with another save game, crash. Retry walking to Mojave, crash. Fast travel near Mojave, start a combat with a npc: CRASH.
7. repeat 6..

I've run into a a problem with Sgt. Daniel Contreras. I can't purchase anything from him which svcks cause I'm trying to get 12.7mm rounds for my machinegun. I ran into it probably 85hrs into the game, just estimating. I've tried loading previous games but even when I'm sure that it wasn't glitching at the time it now is. I'm at 110hrs into the game load back to 60hrs and nothing it's still screwed. Usually when I run into one of the many glitches I just load a previous save and it's fixed. Now I seem to be running into glitches continually. Thanks for posting some of the other glitches thankfully I've avoided many, from the forums. I do hope bethesda reads and can do something to salvage their reputation since previous games have been a joy.

Not seen anyone else mention this, but there is a slight issue with the true iron sights on all the guns held by 2 hands (rifles, shotguns etc) They all shoot slightly to the right of where they actually should. You can see this by tricking the HUD crosshair to show while looking down the sights. Turn to 3rd person mode while crouched and hold zoom, then click to change to 1st person view and it should still be looking down the sight with the HUD crosshair still showing. All of the pistols are correctly aligned, but all the rifles ive checked (Varmint, This Machine, Brush gun etc) all show the iron sight aiming slightly to the left of where they should be. Hope someone else can try this and confirm it and its not just me.

Xbox 360 Exploit: running along the outside of the NCR correction facility, you will find outhouses INSIDE the facility you can select and teleport to bypassing the gate. Pretty sure you aren't supposed to be able to do this :) not really a bug but I imagine they might wanna include a fix in a patch for it.

I've found the cause of stimpaks killing companions. When a companion is in combat and poisoned, when you use the companion wheel stimpaks perform the opposite, they hurt the companion for whatever HP they woulve have healed. Just thoroughly tested this while Veronica and Rex were fighting a pack of radscorpions. I could heal them just fine before they got poisoned but once poisoned, stimpaks kill them preventing you to be able to heal them, and causing a lot of grief for hardcoe players!

Not much point in having companions if they just rush headlong into combat and can't be healed, getting killed all the time... ;)

I found another bug, this involves a perk.

I took the Educated perk, it says its supposed to add skill points and it's worked on all my playthroughs, except on my latest one. Every other time I level up, I have 15 skill points and the other times I have 16. I have never gotten more than 16 and I don't even get 16 every time.

There is also a glitch at the Gun Runners outside of New Vegas. When you attack the glass Vendortron is standing behind and when he becomes hostile to you, if you go inside the factory and back out Vendortron teleports through the glass and is indestructible, shoots from all angles possible, and unescapable.

I think i may have stumbled across a new bug.

When i load the game i dont get an "update available" message on screen, I got the first update but i thought the new one was suppossed to be out by now?
Is this a problem with my console or are there other reasons, surely a major company couldnt take this long when other major companies have sorted there issues (Fable 3/Cod Bo)?

Now back to the serious work,

I think this is a unique bug as i havent spotted it in the list, apologies if its there!

Sometimes when engaged in combat i will manage to escape far enough away so i can fast travel to the nearest safe haven if im getting my ass kicked.
When i arrive every friendly npc runs away in terror from me and if i need to talk to them it can be quite hard to catch up. I guess the game is still somehow in combat/enemy mode in this new friendly location?

not sure if this has been fixed or not, or if anyone else has found away around it, but I've found a solution to the new vegas gate glitch. I'm sorry if this doesn't work, or if I'm confused, just bear in mind I'm trying tohelp. Bruce Isaac in Novac has a key to the Vegas Gate (Vegas gate key if you can believe it) I haven't tested if this works (mine's never had this glitch) but it seems that if you go to Novac and pick his pocket you should be able to get the key and then go to the gate. If someone could check this for me I would greatly appreciate it, but I'm pretty sure it will work

I read through this post and didn't find anything like my problem. Arcade Gannon was injured when I was running through the artillery fire to reach the Boomers. He was knocked out and when he revived and returned to me he had a crippled leg and arm. I tried using stimpacks, tried knocking him out to hopefully fix him, gave him stimpacks to hold in his inventory as well as doctors bags and nothing. Still crippled. I decided to dismiss him so I could hopefully recruit him again in the Tops casino and now I'm stuck asking what he thinks of the current situation or asking about his background making him unrecruitable and everything else about him unobtainable. *%$&ing annoying.

I really am disappointed with Bethesda and Obsidian. Playing through this game has been a nightmare, this is my third playthrough due to errors and not being able to load previous saved games, frankly I'm astounded that they would release such an obviously and incredibly flawed item. Here's the solution. Don't buy anything they put out again, borrow it from someone else.

The other new turnoff for me concerning this series is how much of it was recycled from the other games. Bethesda management needs some serious retooling.
