I've found an awesome summer shale I like. Really smooth. Don't know the name though, will have to find out. Always been a fan of blue moon as well.

Mind if I expand the scope of this thread to talk about vodka? My parents tend to keep more of that stuff around the house than they do wine or beer (relatively speaking), so when the latter runs low I usually end up drinking the former.

Anyway, what do you guys do with your vodka to make it more... agreeable? I can drink it straight, but I really don't like to so I normally mix it up with some cranberry juice or something.

I am currently acquiring a taste for beer for the fourth time. I would get hammered off of beer and barf all night, and every time until i make the effort to get used to it again, it tastes like barf.

Duck Rabbit Milk Stout, though I've given up beer (just an occasional glass of red wine).

Oh, I just noticed this thread. I go through bouts where I prefer hard cider over beer - after a long stretch where there was only limited cider options, a lot of stores around me are stocking some lovely artisanol ciders that I enjoy trying. But then I go back to beer - I prefer dark beers (Newcastle Brown Ale is always a consistent favorite, and even the Guinness in a bottle I can find periodically although Guinness from the tap will always be preferable of course.) But one beer I found in my area is the Saranac Caramel Porter. It's delicious! Just the right balance of "heft", but not too heavy like some porters can get. And the scent with just the faintest hint of caramel. Good stuff!

I just had Guinness on tap last night at Dave & Busters, and as always, better.

But I was kind of a [censored] and smuggled some vodka in my wife's purse to mix with orange soda as well.

If anything mixes tend to be by far my biggest method of alcohol consumption, the most extensive being vodka and orange juice/soda. I used to do rum (captain morgan mainly) and coke but the last year or two it's torn my digestive system to shreds each time I've consumed any decent amount.

I also found some B?renj?ger at LCBO so rest assured I'll have me plenty of that, it's a wonderful honey liqueur, like 40% alcohol, no need to mix with anything, take a glass and enjoy.. problem is it's incredibly easy to get [censored] up from it.
