When i first arrived at Kvatch.. some scamp got me.. and start blasting fireballs on me.. and eat half of my Life Energy,

So i got mad. Get some potions ... armor weapons charge in there kill every damn scamp. took the stone and out!
But i was scared when that dreamora talked to me: "U SHALL NOT BE HERE MORTAL! UR BLOOD IS FORFEIT UR FLESH.. IS.. MINE!!" i [censored] my pants

"Wait.... What the hell, I'm only level 2, and they're already sending me to (erm) hell? ....Ooookay then."

i played some epic music the jumped right through!!!!.... until i learned you have to hit A

*Huge flaming Oblivion gate looms threateningly overhead*

Well like most people the first time:

Took a deep breath, drew my sword, said out loud 'lets do this' and jumped through. Man I wished I could have seen the dumb look on my own face when nothing happend.
Jumping through several times and thinking: 'WTF, is this thing broken?' Eventually I figured out that activating it works best

In my first few games on my old PC though, I usually raced through the main quest to get rid of those gates who ruined my framerate. (until I figured out that never going to Kvatch works too)
Now I have a nice new fast PC and in my latest game I'm going for closing all the Oblivion gates, I'm on 26 now. I love hacking Oblivion scum to bits with my very good warrior cat.

I said "Oh boy this should be fun" It wasn't.

I did the same thing. But i said do i have to ? I also cussed more than a sailor trying to go into the gate. Unknown to me i had to press A to go into the gate.

I blinked a few times, took a deep breath and said:

"OMFG THIS IS BULL THEY SAID THIS WOULDN'T HAPPEN!? GODDAMIT!"

Then I proceeded to draw my current Silver Longsword, don my stolen guard armor [Taken from a guard killed by something on a road actually] and I ran towards the gate. As I was just about to stupidly try and JUMP through it, (I'm looking at you guys. Lol) a scamp came out and attacked me. After I killed it I was standing right next to the gate, it said to activate it... I just lolled at the thought that I was going to try and jump through it like something would happen.

When I saw the first gate, I thought: "This is a very good time to make a savegame."

Then I did the walk-through-the-gate thing about a half dozen times before realizing I had to activate it.

My exact words completely
" Wait what the [censored] ? Me in that thing ? [censored] no ! " Looks at Kvatch guards " Screw you guys !"
Fishy walks into gate and the story goes on after that .....

"Aw, crap. You're really saying that I'M supposed to go in THERE?"

*Draws sword*

*Runs right through gate
"What the?, how do I getin?...."
*Presses A button*
"Oh ok, that makes sense"

i just thought o well might asswell just end it now *jumps off a cliff* *respawns* OMG THERE IS NO END TO THIS NIGHTMARE *breaks disc* *realises what he just did*[censored]

First time i saw that gate i got my brother hanging over my shoulder (he was an oblivion junky long before i started) He says to me, "Dude, you're screwed."

I took a minute to think about it.

Then I jumped in and said "Yay. Death."

I was like Oh danm then I treid to run in then jump in then I pressed the A button.

I think we all tried to jump in the first time. XD

I still jump through them before I enter to make sure I get everything that's around it before going in, just to make sure nothing will kill my horse while I'm in there going for the Sigil Stone.
Lately I've been naming my horses and I like them, plus they are expensive.

Meh.

To me it was nothing special, I'd seen it all before.
