Given I don't have a 360 anymore and given I am not planning on buying a current gen console or a PC at this time Skyrim is likely to not even be on the list
Even if it was on the list I doubt it would even be in the top 20 anyway as Bethesda seems intent on focusing on aspects of games I don't care about or if they do they do it poorly.

Final Fantasy 3 (VI), Knights of the Old Republic, and Diablo II.
That being said, I can name a number of RPGs that have had epic stories that amazed me just as much as these three. Diablo II is on this list just because if I didn't list it I'd be doing a disservice to the hundreds upon hundreds of hours I've spent on that game.

Final Fantasy VI (fist released as III out of Japan), Xenogears, and TESIV: Oblivion are all among my favorites but I like more than that. I don't think I could definitively pick which three are my favorites.

Chances are Skyrim will take spot 1 or 2 on this list when it is out pushing Persona 3 out of the list leaving my top 3 as being only TES games. So I'll make another list where I just clunk all TES games together.
