I'm always excited about new content...new weapons, new armor...plus they usually release patches right before...im keeping my fingers crossed for a patch that fixes that annoying glitch with arcade :(

This message always feels so racist...

How about the one where my main character can't get within 100 feet of Nipton :brokencomputer:

Yeah I thought I saw all there was to see with Qore, but apparently they did an interview and I'm stupidly excited again

I'm sorry...it's from Adventure Time, a children's cartoon on cartoon network and the funniest show I've ever seen in my entire life. The episode is death in bloom and is when Fin and Jake (the two main protagonists) meet the dead flesh eaters. It's pretty good. I'm sorry you cannot enjoy this :cryvaultboy:

What can I say, in the times before your dumb-ass robot we took things more seriously; I've got a reason not to like House now, he didn't get Optimus working and the Enclave died as a result of his failure. Damn you House!

And we are very very offtopic now, so back at the question at hand, am I excited about OWB?
Yes.

And No.

I'm excited about the characters cause they look really interesting but the rest just looks like if they went: "All ideas you had about Science!, write them down on a note and throw them into the Old World Blues box and we'll implement them".
Just looks like a mess of random crap for teh lulz or for teh coolsauce.

So my excitement is for the characters which actually look interesting, the sink for example was hilarious and the toaster? I want to have him as a companion.
But other than that, yeah, just picture something over the top ridiculous twist on Science! and that's what OWB is IMO, just a bunch of random stuff thrown together.

So I am excited and at the same time not.
At least Chris is writing this DLC so hopefully the main quest will be real good with lots of choices and hopefully a new way to end the game like DM did and which HH failed to do.

I'm still not excited. But I am more interested than I was before, so that's...er...progress? :D
I'd also love to have that toaster as a companion, that'd be a riot.

I too have to question the practicality of robot-scorpions but I'll save my opinoins until after the DLC; as coloured as they probably will be.

I wonder if there is a new ending in OWB where the player can join that collective of caretakers

Chris Avellone made Dead Money, Old World Blues and Lonesome Road, right?

I hope so. Dead Money is the best DLC I've ever played. Not exactly looking forward to Old World Blues cause there's nothing to look forward to: we barely know squat about it. Could be interesting though.
