Bethesda - Buff Werewolves. This is not a suggestion, this i

Werewolves allready confirmed to be getting a perk tree = Buffed, No need for thread.
It's only been confirmed that lycanthropy is getting improvements at some point. It has not been confirmed yet as to what, how and when they are coming, however. I kind of doubt they would randomly just introduce it in Dawnguard, unless Dawnguard will also feature werebears for some reason or another. I do know that prior to TES V, Skyrim was supposed to have the largest population of lycanthropes in Tamriel, so that may be something that could get touched on to a degree in DLC if Dawnguard doesn't add anything to lycanthropy. Just don't expect them to do a lycanthropy-themed DLC after them having done a vampire-themed one.
On the gamejam clips it shows a werewolf perk tree and it allready looked finished on there. I REALLY doubt they would withhold it for future dlc since this is their supernaturel themed dlc.
Um, wouldn't all DLC for Skyrim be supernatural themed, considering it is fantasy game with supernatural themes?

Also, one final thing: It has been confirmed that one of the patches broke the werewolf beast form's light armor calculations, FYI. I do not know if this has been addressed yet in a patch, but I'm pretty certain that it hasn't.

Incoming PC player >_>

I solved my own problem by just adding damage and magic resistance and the amount of HP received from feeding. I didn't touch damage dealt.

But I rarely transform these days because I'm stronger in normal form.

You know the first fort you clear after contracting the disease during the Companions questline? The Silver Hand fort? With Aela? Yeah, I died literally 8 times in a row because two mages shot fireballs at me at the same time on Adept. Adept. Balanced.

No offense... but i think you just svck. Werewolves are not tanks :) Heck even my tank character can hardly stand up to a Hagravens constant bombardment of fireballs. Two mages casting fireballs at you is equivilent to one hagraven i would think.

I heard taking 2 hits from 2 enemies denoted tanking ability. What a silly notion. So, what, Werewolves are supposed to take on ONE and ONLY ONE enemy at a time, and that's balanced? Lol.

My mage dies in about 6 hits. Dying in 3 hits does not make you "not a tank", it makes you absurdly underpowered. Please educate yourself. Good grief.

Your mage can take 6 hits? What difficulty are you playing on? Must be easy cuz mages are squishy and there's no way you're taking 6 hits from most enemies...unless you meant you can tank 6 hits from...what? A skeever? Good point.

Try playing on master and see how many hits you can take, let alone how many enemies you can fight at once.
The answer is one and one.
Also, use your fear howl. Sounds like a plan. You can't tank so run around some more and make your enemies flee in terror rather than gang up and rip you apart.

Also, for those thinking that we'll get a skill tree for werewolves, I'm not so sure. This would not benefit everyone. What if you are already level 65? Then what? You can't really take that many perks on the skill tree.

OP, You keep calling people trolls who are giving advice on this thread, If theres no perk tree there are other ways to buff your werewolf allready, Change your howl to the summoning wolves howl for backup, Get the lord stone for magic resist and armor for beast form as well, Cast a shield spell before transforming. Infact mages make the best werewolves atm because they can get a least 300 armor in beast mode with the alteration perks and 85% damage resist at 100 alteration. Alot of methods to buff your werewolf.

Oh and for reference, I'm level 30 something with only about as much health as you (actually I think it might be less), master difficulty, light armor, vampire, and I'm doing just fine. Kthx.
I don't try to tank because I know I CAN'T. Dodge moar.

Drinking out of the other side of a glass because the other side is chipped doesn't make you clever and it doesn't make the glass not broken.

Well, maybe not "confirmed" per say, but hinted at by Vsions.

A confirmation of something for werewolves. He mentions different models depending on races and traits. That could be what he was talking about, instead of the perk tree.

Just because you can't smith a werewolf to 1000 damage doesn't make them weak. Try using your speed, shouts, and power attacks. Standing in one place is an easy way to get destroyed fast.
I think you will find a number of players play without skill and rely on super strong gear. I completely agree, I think the wolf form is strong, 80 damage (doubled or tripled when power attacking) for the highest version.

My problem is against non-human enemies, I have no way to heal.

My mage can take a battering, 437 armor rating, lord stone + ebony flesh boosted by necromage. Can throw in a 100 shield ward if I need to.

I took that to mean the perk tree you spoke of was confirmed by that post, since that was what you were banging on about when you were saying this thread was useless. Yes something is coming for werewolves, but we don't know what that is.

THAT WOULD BE EPIC if thats what it was. I can imagine a Scaley Argonian Werewolf. Or a Werecat, much like a saber cat, for the Khajiit. Or a Werebear for the orc.

If a perk tree or some sort of werewolf progression came out, feeding on animals would be a nice perk.

i wouldn't exactly call a desire a necessity to game play.

i would say they should be buffed but it doesn't really matter tbh i really feel indifferent about the vampire thing too haha

Personally, I'm opposed to that idea, because the defining feature of werewolves is that they look like a humanoid wolf. If they got different colored furs depending on hair and races (though not to the point of blonde wolves) I'd be okay with that, but making what's supposed to be a wolf more like a feline is something I'm opposed to.

I'd much rather see new lycanthropes emerge rather than the making the different races turn into odd looking werewolves.
