The new pokemon looks like Shadow the Hedgehog.

I kinda see the resemblence, but Silver is a much better hedgehog IMO :P

Well, when it comes to mythology the pok?mon should play a special part of it. Otherwise every other pok?mon in the mythology is a legendary.

So, any idea's what the gen five starters are. I'm hoping thtere will be a Fire/Psychic starter.

@ninja monkey: Until they add some decent moves to the dark type(meaning a move that does more than 80 damage), dark won't be all that good.

I know, they need to shake things up a bit. Stop using the Fire, Grass, Water starters. I want a Bug starter. Just for some laughs.

bug won't work but I think that you could do a fighting, dark, phsycic triangle.

Well why not dualie starters? Two types for a change. Then you could have a bug.

they'll always have fire/water/grass just because that's what every one is used to. I like the starter triangle, i just think they need to start being more creative with it. Infernape pissed me off because i already had blaziken, if the next fire starter is Fire/Fighting again i'll probably cry. i don't know. The Drk/Psy/Fight triangle seems okay though, they might be a little over powered in the beginning.

@ gamgee: Lol, fire/bug it'd die so quickly that imo it'd be useless

That just means you change up the begginning trainers pokemon to instead of bug and normal type make it like fire and grass or something.

That would work wouldn't it?

Edit
I never said Fire/Bug. -_-

no psychic is normally effective versus rock

Rock > Electric > Water maybe

@: above: but there has already been bug/water. And i'm not certain about bug/grass. They uassually try and be inventive with the starter's types

Goddamnit... they need a ???/Bug type. I don't care so long as the bug type gets some love. It's been forsaken for so long. Although better than the original days. Back then it was pretty much cannon fodder.

At least now we have Bug Pokemon like Scizor and Heracross. All we need now is a Bug legendary.

I'd be more worried about one starter being IMMUNE to another starter's attacks completely. Talk about a bum choice for rival pokemon.

I'm still waiting for a Dragon/Fire type.. :snoring:

That's a good point, you would normally associate Fire with Dragons.
But no...

The most game breaking Pokemon would be a Dragon/Ice type.

Would it though? If it was too strong they'd just ban it from official arenas anyways, like they did with Slaking and every single legendary.
