I love the posts on here that tell about how the married couple that have two systems and how they both play. I think he's upstairs and she's downstairs and they compare notes a bit because everyone's game is different. I'm a fan of Bethesda's open world games for life and play as much as I can. This time I made a Khajiit who's a thief with a twist. She gives people things instead of stealing them. I did one pickpocket so far and gave the NPC a garnet. Too fun! The thing about the avatar is that it's supposed to be an image of you, in replacement of an actual photo of you. Many boys/men could fancy themselves as this Ondolemar character you're using.

Actually, it's the reverse; "dumbed down" video games are played by male gamers; all the boys!men I know play this kind of stupid games, where you mainly have to follow your teammates and kill whatever is in front of you .

I'm really pleased to see here so many boys/men playing Skyrim and really enjoying it! :wink:

I think the fact that TES games are so much fun is the main reason so many girls play. Most other games are extremely linear where you just shoot your way from the starting line to the finish line. TES games inspire creativity and have a lot of spirit.

A lot of those girls do enjoy games, have blogs about games and some of them even make games. A friend of mine adores Ree Soesbee in particular, who's a developer with Arenanet.

But what does it matter. I've never met a male gamer who hasn't become overweight by the age of 20. No, that's a lie, I've met one: my brother. Does that mean there are no others out there? That every male gamer is an ugly fat slob? No, no it doesn't.

Something I've learnt in my 37 years on this earth is woman only want equality when it suits them. The recent ferry indecent off Italy highlights this perfectly.

I've yet to hear a single irate word aimed towards the "women and children first" rule. Has any female rights organization spoken out about this out dated draconian mindset?

The rule should be changed to "children first", then it should be a case of first come, first served so to speak.

I'm a girl. I play games. I never thought it was unusual, but it's true that I don't know many female gamers beside myself. Most of those that I know are hot, though

Give it another five years and there'll be no need for threads like this; there's no need already, the only problem is that women usually don't write on forums and just play the games (that's why some of them can kick your ass in multiplayer, they practise while their boyfriends are pondering their very existence and invoking rule 30).
