I'm surprised that some people are still able to come on these forums...

well that's because the game is popular. It's the hype, not the swords, spells and dragons.

I don't know... but on all the skyrim forums I go to, people always say "he" when they talk about me. They assume I'm a guy. It's kind of annoying.
Well, your pseudonym and your avatar don't help much... ;) Anyway, whatever forum you participate to, people will always assume that you are a guy...

I've always found men that play female characters to be creepy. Usually says something about their real life.

I've always found that men who find it creepy that other men play female characters are usually just insecure about their own sixuality.

I guess I'll change my avatar then... Though I can't imagine any guy who would use a hot half-naked pic of Ondolemar for their avatar.

OP, may I ask a personally question? How old are you?

No offense intended, it's just that between this and some of the other posts I've seen you make, I'm really wondering.

Was this question for me? I'm 32. I believe it says so on my profile.

Come on people, men and women are more similar to each other than a lot of people realise.

Or maybe it's more accurate to say we are all individuals, and our interests and opinions aren't as reliant on our gender than a lot of people think.

As society has progressed, the difference in the treatment and expectations of men and women have reduced.

Stereotypically manly or girly things are a lot more acceptable to the other six nowadays, and I personally think that's a good thing.

Not sure why the concept that women play RPGs should be such a shocking one. It's always been the case in the cicles I've associated with over the years.

A girl I know who plays Skyrim literally flirted with me using the cheesy pickup line that female NPCs use to indicate they'd be receptive if you wore the Amulet.

She knew I played it too, took the cheesy voice and went "Its a fine day with you around!" XD I was rolling on the floor.

You'll be suprised that 98% of those women are actually men.

lol does it matter what six player or character is ? of course women play games TV is rubbish and there is only so much housework we can do ! Days are gone when we were barefoot and pregnant chained to the kitchen sink !
and men who play female characters ? why not ? its a set of pixels. I remember a male friend telling me that if he was going spend hours looking at the screen he would rather look at a female than a male .
I am female.. my partner is male and we sit at adjoining desks playing Skyrim :)

I think the internet is reflective of the truth. I've found that TES has always had a lot of female fans over the years.

Drakkenfan, you might consider your avatar hot, but to us, it's just some Skyrim character one can assume you thought was cool looking, or something.

This, and your avatar really made me laugh.

I'm not my character, so it doesn't matter to me. My GW1 main is an extremely tall, black, ex-pirate mercenary who manipulates her enemies into killing themselves. My main in Skyrim is a male, Breton thief with conjuration support. Both are equally not me.

When it comes to something like Pokemon, I tend to play as a girl, since that really is just me in the Pokeworld.

Mesmers are pretty nifty aren't they ;)
