can we PLEASE get a DLC announcement...

Post » Sun Jun 10, 2012 4:00 am

yeah, the fact that i said we'd get it a month after release was me typing a thought incorrectly, sue me? that has nothing to do with the thread lol. they didn't say that, i get it, i typed it wrong. they said a month before ps3/pc. also, stop acting like a self righteous fan-boy like you DON"T want a dlc announcement. who wouldn't want a dlc announcement, rofl. that's just stupid.

Shut up.... what right do you have to complain about a very excellent video game made by Bethesda? calling people self righteous for being patient? I hope the dlc doesn't get revealed untill next September....while you a tearing your eyes out in agony us pc users will be enjoying user created mods :)

Yeah, I played with mods on Morrowind and some on Oblivion.
And sorry, but no, that doesn't really sound awesome. Sounds like something taken from Guild Wars or something  But everybody's got different taste.

Tbh its quite fun hell i dont even know if its installed correctly....

so you can buy a laptop that can run skyrim for 199, the price of an xbox? no, you cant lol...a laptop that can run skyrim would cost well over 600 dollars, and that's talking lowest settings. i don't see how 199 is the same as 600+

jeeez people dont know [censored] about system specs.... Dual Core 2.0GHz or equivalent processor- 2GB System RAM- 6GB free HDD Space- Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 512 MB of RAM. Those are [censored] ass minimum requirements those well under 600......

I'm glad they are taking their time. It means in the end the DLC will (hopefully) be polished and worthy of adding on to such a great game. I wouldn't want to buy something rushed out for the sake of making a profit.

I would be surprised if any DLC is beyond pre-production yet.

SkyUI is essential for any PC player that uses a Keyboard and mouse because BGS can't make a proper UI themselves. So saying all mods are not a benefit is a joke.

Fine, that's your opinion. I know many people that play Skyrim fine on PC without SkyUI. And I never said that all mods aren't beneficial. They just don't appeal to ME as I see no use for then for ME.

you all apparently don't realize they have an entire team of 80 or so people on the Bethesda team working on skyrim, it doesn't take 80 people to fix bugs. they have subteams working 100% of dlc and teams working on patches. they probably even have a team working on tes:vi ideas, and a team working on fallout 4 ideas. spouting off nonsense doesn't make your case true lol.

Just because you're jumping to throw more money at them for more broken content doesn't mean the rest of us are. You want DLC, hit the Nexus.

So? The only thing PC has better is console command (which is awesome). I don't care for mods. Never liked them, probably never will.

Without modders, Morrowind and Oblivion never would have had all their bugs fixed, because Bethesda sure as hell couldn't be bothered. Think on that one, Chumley.

Not all of us are Pc Players, Broken content is content that dosent work, Skyrims content works fine.

You seem like you speak for every "vet" in the world. The game didnt fail at all. Its a lot more succesfull than any other game in the series. And that is the truth. I have played all the TES Games (except the mobile stuff, and not in order,) but I don't think Skyrim is too bad.

It made a lot of money. So what. It was a failure on every other front. What they need to do is patch in attributes and release free DLC that includes the vast amount of things they've gutted with spellcrafting being number one. Then they can start to add all of the skills, armor pieces, spell types, weapon types, and all of the other stuff one by one until they turn this back into TES.

I can run Skyrim with Textures High, all sliders at about middle, and everything else low on my 5 year old laptop that cost 500 dollars when I got it. So it would probably be around 200 dollars by now. I get around 20-30 fps on it.

Spellcrafting was dumb, the effects of it were horrible. Armour is way better looking, Weapons are better looking, Skills are better, Tes has not been gutted. And if you going to insult the devs why are you here? Dont give me "Apply constructive criticism", Because your not, your putting some people down, If you have nothing positive or constructive to say dont say it.

Your opinion. I disagree. We don't need attributes because we have skill and perks now. Spellcrafting needs work and can come back as a DLC later or in the next TES. Add skills, armor pieces and all that from what? MW, OB?
And this is The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. So it's already a TES game. A dame fine one too if I say so myself.
