Can someone "sound" attractive?

Although he's from my neck of the woods, that sounded more like a Birmingham accent (though Brummies may disagree...), but not northern, anyway...

Can't we blame them on the French?

From France? You have my blessing. Here (Qc) we consider French accent like a parent trying to sound cool but totally ruins it for everyone.

Voice can be all that, that's why I watch movies with the original soundtrack when I can, and with subtitles for langages I don't know. Those voice-over translations kill more movies than anyone suspect.

When I was single, I used to listen to a lot of the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVdVTVR-j0Q.. all those men voices gave me my M(ale) vitamins that I lacked so much.

Yes and Yes. However, sounding "hot", "sixy" and "cute" don't mean they are any of those things. Most times, those that sound overly cute, hot or sixy are not. This generally applies to females as I don't think men can sound any of those things.

If someone can have the voice of a banshee with laryngitis, then it stands to reason that someone can have a deep velvet-smooth sixy voice. :hubbahubba:

A simple thing like a sigh can be very erotic.

Voices can be attractive, and voices can be sixy, etc, but I don't think the word "hot" can be applied to a voice. I think of "hot" as an appearance-related trait. :P

I don't know about that. Haven't you ever heard a voice and thought "That person must be incredibly hot/sixy/beautiful?"

Voice and appearance are not connected though.

I dunno, I've noticed I've often managed a reasonably close guess based on what someone sounds like (well, and partly by what they say, too). Then again, I've got it really badly wrong on enough occasions to know that it's not enough to rely on!

Agree, I have a deep voice but people seem to think im either older or bigger then I am. Also sometimes my voice doesnt sound as deep through some peoples phones or headsets.

An online friend I added on facebook had the image of james earl jones from my voice didnt expect a tall thin white guy.

Yes to both, although sometimes the voices can be misleading.

Ah, totally :) of course the people do sound sixy, boring, cute, all sorts of things. A raspy / low voice is generally considered sixy for both sixes, when again cute voice... that's japanese schoolgirls :D

Yes and yes.

Sometimes you don't even need a voice. Check this out...

I don't know about you but meeting a woman with a raspy/low voice would be a big turnoff for me.

It doesn't have to be true, but you can't say that you've never heard a sixy/hot/beautiful voice and thought that they must look hot/sixy/beautiful.

No, because that's not a rational thought.

Ya' never know, with some people. Bonnie Tyler's career kicked off once her voice got a rasp.

I'm not trying to define attractiveness. He used the words "look" and "beautiful", and all I'm saying is that the only connection between voice and looks is coincidental.

So what the hell else can you describe it as? I can't think of any words to describe an attractive person that doesn't involve looking at something besides, well, the word attractive.

And are you honestly telling me that you've never equated a voice that you've never seen the owner of with a sixy/beautiful/hot person?

And since when do humans think rationally?
