Well yeah, I like the old cockney accents where they sound like chain smoking Australians, but Most every monied person from Stoke to Southampton sounds kinda strained, like their wives are sleeping with the Scottish stable lad or something.

In real life, I used to talk to a colleague on the phone who worked at headquarters, and I'd never met or seen him. My boss walked in on me flirting horrendously, as usual, with this stranger with the sixy voice. When I'd hung up, he was laughing, and said, "You have no idea what he looks like, do you?"
"Nope."
"About yea big with a face that looks like it's been slapped with a shovel."

Voices can be attractive, and voices can be sixy, etc, but I don't think the word "hot" can be applied to a voice. I think of "hot" as an appearance-related trait.
