A lot of things.

Born and raised in LA. Persian and Turkish descent. Live in Dubai. Have relatives from all over the world (Including, but not limited to: England, Wales, Scotland, Utah, Texas, Florida, the Carolinas, Virginia, Canada, China, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Mars, and Adrien Brody's nose.)

Speak a crapload of languages and can do 10 craploads of accents. (Some better than others.)

This actually terrifies me as isnt a solar blast the indicator of cataclysmic events, if its truly as big as the article states than i am very nervous. Please someone quell my fears...

I actually have a question, Do people who live outside of the US think that American's have a sixy accent? I've always wondered this. For example, I think British accents are awesome but American's are plain. I think it's because its what I'm exposed to the most.

I'm from the U.S., but I think we should clarify which American accents. As a resident of New York state, I think the stereotypical deep southern U.S. accent is atrocious, for example.

That's true.

I don't mind the southern accent that much though. Coming from Wisconsin everyone here is extremely nasally so that's probably why I don't like it. :P

I think we can generalize the American accent that is most commonly broadcasted: Hollywood.
