I can't understand why you'd play this on console.

I cant believe people actually care about this [censored].
Who gives a damn what platform you play on as long as you enjoy yourself? At the end of the day its just a game ,nothing more nothing less. I said it before and I'll say it again, people that get on forums to boast about their platform of choice whether it be PC or Console must have pretty empty lives.

Same here, having to quicksave every 5 minutes in fear of losing my game plus the horrible laggy feel on the PC version, meant I switched to Xbox version and to be honest, I`ve had a far more enjoyable experience since. I was getting anywhere between 3-6 crashes an hour and that`s on a new system that runs all other games fine, inc The Witcher 2 on Ultra.

Did you try using the 4GB mod? I started using it and haven't experienced a crash since. And hopefully, the LAA patch has rendered the 4GB mod obsolete, though I haven't done any extensive testing since it was released yesterday.

Sorry about the starving thing. But really if I am going to finish my studies I have to focus on that and I really cant work. I also believe we are from different parts of the world? Today where I am from it is almost impossible to find "freelance" work.
You can always sacrifice something to get more time. Frellancing implies offering your skills on the internet, which has next to no relation to "where you are from".

I dont get bored on console, I have friends to talk to on it. I know like 2 people who have steam, and the ones who have skype can't be on both at once.

I dont reallly have skills that can be offerd via internet. I also have other interests and hobbies other than gaming which I would much rather spend my time on and not working to afford a good computer.

Yeah I used that when it was released but still got the CTD`s (sounds like an STD  ) on an infrequent basis but enough to put me off really. Strangely, I`ve not had any freezes on console since patch 1.3. It might just be coincidence I suppose. I still got a lot less freezes than CTD`s though.

Let me change that for you... why would you play any game on ps3 while you can play it on Xbox 360? hahah

A keyboard isn't made for gaming. And when ps4 comes out pc gamers will be more extinct than the Dwemer

Like said, you can use a controller by literally plugging it in.

And not really. The PS4 and the new Xbox will just be a good, decent PC for the time. For a bit more you'll be able to get an equal PC, for a little bit extra you'll get one that's better :P

I feel like a PC pays for itself eventually, so much cheaper games. I just bought Metro 2033 for 5$ on steam yesterday. A new console is also going to set you back almost as much as a budget gaming computer is at this point. I feel like if you can follow instruction to build a PC you might as well go that route. I'm curious how well next gen consoles will do, as I think with PCs getting cheaper and cheaper they won't be able to compete for much longer. Exclusive titles will be the only thing they can cling to after price is no longer a selling point.

Keyboard+mouse is superior to controller for like 90% of games. And you can use a controller on a PC anyway. I have one, but I haven't used it since THPS3.

You can have multiple people on Skype, and you can also use vent. One of the most popular multiplayer PC games often involved having 10-25 people in voice communication.

My Xbox froze up all the time playing Fallout 3. I've experienced maybe three CTDs playing Skyrim, in 250 odd hours played.

Yes, that's a totally fair comparison! Bravo to you sir!

I detect a note of sarcasm, but I'm pretty sure that it is. If it helps, I also experienced the same with Oblivion. And Fallout: New Vegas.

But you don't mind having your console sitting next to you in the lounge?

It sits in the little slot underneath that a bluray player would normally sit in.

Right, okay. Nope, not gonna fit a high end PC in there. Not by a long shot.

I can't understand why no one seems to understand the "no platform bashing" line in the forum rules.
