No not mod because that will cause your Xbox live account to be closed for good, it breaks the agreement you make when you sing in. I'm talking about console command my friend, that's why I asked if your playing on Xbox, if your on PS3 I don't think my method will work, the Xbox copy is closer to the PC version then the PS3 version.

There have been numerous threads about this so I'm sure Bethesda knows on some level that we want mods and cheats for consoles.

At the very least they should include console commands so we can fix some broken quests and other things they haven't done yet.

Todd has said before they'd really like to find a way for the consoles to have mods, but it's figuring out how and then Sony and Microsoft allowing mods on their systems.

What's the point? As has been said repeatedly, it's the console manufacturers that won't allow it. It's not up to Bethesda.

And seriously, there's been dozens of threads for this for Skyrim, Oblivion and both Fallouts. Bethesda knows. It's just beating a dead horse at this point.

I do love the way MS and Sony want to act like mods would be an affront to the integrity of their systems because I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the Red Ring of Death and the hacker shutdown/security breach of the PSN was caused by modders using console commands.

Its not like they're very good at preventing it either, every other game on COD 4 is modded, i don't report it either cause those games are the funnest. And why not mod on skyrim its not like you're messing up anyone else's game. Doesn't make sense to me.

Why does the PC version deserve more? They get updates faster, better graphics, mods and console commands. We should at least get console commands.

No, it doesn't matter if Bethesda talks to them, console manufacturers would still never allow mods/cheats onto consoles for any game, for any reason. That's the whole point of consoles, the game devs and publishers have complete control over it, so why would they give it up?

They'd give it up if Bethesda payed them. And its not like Bethesda is just gonna run out of money, i mean come on, they've got millions of dollars from skyrim alone.

I don't think she's naive just misguided, or ill informed.
MS and Sony wont let that happen because of security issues, like people hacking you account and what not is their biggest excuse, but really a lot of the mods that have been created for the game would wreck a console due to lack in memory and what not. Don't get me wrong there are plenty of mods out there that I think consoles could handle but once again it falls down to legal issues like owner ship of mod etc...etc... Perhaps us console players will be gifted with mods with the next Gen. of consoles, Beth. already has a console that allows mods it's call the Dev.kit console, they used it to show off Skyrim before release, so it's just a matter of time before that tech. reaches the public.

Yeah I have my doubts that the next gen. will not allow us to play used games, how are they gonna enforce it on console? PC I can see, where PC is forced to use steam, but console, I really cannot think of a way that they could enforce it.

I think it'll be a tricky thing to implement on a console.
