Is Console gaming THIS left out?

Post » Sun Jun 10, 2012 2:33 am

If you want a gaming PC, probably the best thing is to go buy a gaming PC. You aren't going to get much money from selling your Xbox at this stage, though. For the amount of money you would make, if you wait a couple of months your gaming PC would probably have come down in price that much. Not to mention you would have to replace all the games you are still playing on Xbox.

if you can't afford a gaming PC... well this is the advantage of consoles. The hardware companies subsidize them heavily due to the fight for market share.

I'm a proud 360 owner, and I love Skyrim, but I'm feeling the need to sell this Xbox and buy myself a decent PC, if possible.

There's almost endless possibilities to what modders can do with Skyrim, let alone any TES game, and I feel like I'm left out in the cold right now. I go on TES Nexus from time to time just to see what somebody has come up with today, and I can't believe in a matter of months how much content is there. So I ask the question, is it worth it? Am I really getting the full experience I can get with Skyrim, and maybe even future TES games on a console?

The second I can afford a gaming PC, I'm definatly going after one, but that's a whole nother' topic.

i started playing video games on the pc, but, went to the xbox when it came out and have been using consoles since then.
i hated the mouse/key back then and i hate it now. (who cares about precision, since, i'm very precise with my controllers.)

YES, we are getting hosed as console owners.

with a lot of the first person shooters and other top titles i could care less about using a pc. however, with rpg's and rts, we not only don't even get the opportunity to play all the games, but, the developers short-change us.

the fact that all they've been able to come up with is the vegas hardcoe mode shows how deprived we are, since, it's is pure, basic gameplay.

unless something is done soon, i will abandon the consoles for all the games that the mods truely give a much greater experience too.
as well, i do not think anything will be done and the shame the developers SHOULD have when this area is discussed, is apparently nonexistant.

so, i'll soon be buying a pc and using my xbox controller. though, i'd rather not.

So, what's your solution for this:

HDTV is in the living room. PC (a tower, not a laptop) is in the office (the rooms are not adjacent). Moving one to the other is NOT an option (let me repeat that: Moving One to Another Is NOT An Option!). I do not have a laptop. How do you propose I get the same big screen experience on my PC? You know, without spending any money?

How is it not an option? You unhook your tower, pick it up, carry it into the the room with the TV and hook it up to the TV. My tower even has wheels on it, making it even easier.

I couldn`t be bothered to say because it`s so obvious. Oh wait, i`m cpt Obvious I should have said!

Anyway it`s that simple. My Tower`s also a mini-Tower too (everything squeezed in) which makes it perfect to carry around for Lan parties and such.

Wow.

I guess when I said: "Not an option," I wasn't clear enough about it, eh?

It. Is. Not. An. Option.

How? Because. It isn't. That's how. It is, very simply, NOT an option.

So. Now that we are clear on how moving the tower to the tv (or vice versa) is not an option, do you have real solutions, or not? Wait, wait, wait... back up... hold on... I feel like I need to say one more thing before people come back with more of this "it's so obvious" garbage:

Moving the TV to the tower is not an option. Moving the tower to the TV is not an option. Why? Because it is not an option.

Before you jump the gun sit back and see how this Ck steam workshop all works out. Hold off till you see something you really like. Also remeber you will be getting the first officail Dlc before any one else on your 360.

Well if you are a stubborn, belligerent, inflexible moron then you are right, there is no solution. So sorry for you.

Post Limit.

And, we don't need another one of these threads. Until Sony or Microsoft allow this, Mods are not coming to the consoles.
