Isn't the magic itself at risk being seriously weakened by a disappearance of the sun? If I recall well, the sun is a hole created by Magnus when he journeyed to Aetherius, and it is the main source of Magicka in Nirn, isn't it?
Besides, in case the sun would be occulted/obstructed/veiled/distroyed, don't you think the Psijic Order,
would try to repair it?
I really wonder how they'll manage the consequences of this in further DLCs and in TES VI...
And I am really impatient to discover Dawnguard's story and the new lore it'll bring...
You are correct, the sun is the hole left after Magnus said "Screw this crap I'm outta here" (lol more or less) and so yeah, I ... don't see how they could do anything but block it using more magic, but it'd have to be daedric based I think. /ramble
As to the shrine shown, pause the video at 0:25. You're correct in that the head is like that on Molag Bal's shrine, but the method of it dripping down is exactly like that of Namira's. http://images.uesp.net/6/62/SR-quest-The_Taste_of_Death_03.jpg
Frankly, I'm very sad if this is more vampire stuff, because while I agree that there's not much point to being a vampire or anything, this just doesn't seem to fit TES vampiric lore. =/
I also love how no one is really talking about how a dragon took a swan-dive into the water. Is that a new attack or something?
