Looks like it should be a bit of fun. My Nord will be happy to continue vanquishing or be manipulated by evil wherever it may lay...yes, good is dumb and gets taken advantage of too easy :tongue:

Would be nice if the werewolves got some attention eventually. My secondary character is a mage/thief/assassin who just happens to like his fleas and wishes he was more useful as a wolf. Ends up running away, tail between legs way too often since he's not all that tough. He's embarrassed. Only thing that makes him feel better is the fact his oh so loving wife finds it oh so adorable when she rubs his belly and his leg shakes. So yeah, give us some gnarly werewolf add-ons!

The Elder Scroll in the vid looks Gold. So it must be different.

There is still much about dawnguard we dont know.

Do you guy think that every Elder Scrolls game after this one and any further DLC of Skyrim could take place in a world without any sunlight? It'd be quite... Horrible, wouldn't it?

Just need to figure out how I am going to RP my latest build , a High Elf i am thinking of specing for Destruction but might have to start a bad ass Nord warrior to prep for Dawngaurd.

It was posted by Rryz on May 1st, 2012. 31 days ago. It is an old link. And we just found out today that Dawnguard is a vampire hunting group, just as the leaked information claimed.

It was speculation thirty one days ago when no one knew about Dawnguard. Some of it is legit because they seemed to have hit the nail on the coffin; crossbows, vampires, Dawnguard group.

That's pretty cool. Of course, we knew that crossbows and vampires would play a role because of the files from the patches, but still, this guy seems to have done a pretty good job of putting the pieces together. I hope some of the other stuff is true, like going to part of Morrowind. I'm also still interested to see what role snow elves play (since we have the leaked files for them too).

That's pretty cool. I hope some of the other stuff is true, like going to part of Morrowind. I'm also still interested to see what role snow elves play (since we have the leaked files for them too).

Don't know about the snow elves. We did see a Falmer in the trailer receiving an axe to the throat. But it may just be coinscedence.

Or maybe they find a way to survive sans darkening the sun. It would be ridicuously biased if Betheda only made the Dawnguard jerks win.

So has it been confirmed that the 360 only gets this for the first 30 days then it will be released to the PS3 and PC?

if only Sony would stop being cheap and pay for exclusive rights every now and then.

Sony isn't being ' cheap ' but Microsoft just gets there first on these things, as it's an easier way of selling their own console, with COD timed exclusives and other such games... Plus Microsoft has a LOT more money to offer for things like these, Sony doesn't bother, as they won't offer more than M$ and they know the PS users will still buy the DLC, either way think of us 360 users, as Bug testers for these DLC's I have both consoles, but obviously for Skyrim and Cod I use my 360 and Minecraft!

We will probably get it closer to Dawnguards release. Sometime in the Summer. We didn't get a Skyrim spoiler section up until a few days before release.

I surely hope it's something outstanding - because the idea of dealing with vampires doesn't excite me in the least.

Fact is - I absolutely HATED the vampires in Oblivion. Especially before that special underground 'den' was included in the south thru an update. That quest to find a cure for vampirism was AWFUL, it ruined a character for me. And the benefits of vampirism were irrelevant, considering how horrible the drawbacks were.

Ooooh, I really hope there's something truly outstanding about this Expansion............................ :yuck:

Agreed, I wanted a Shrine at least.

I am disappointed by the DLC idea, vampires. I just see them as a side bit in Elder Scrolls, I have not seen a DLC on orgers or scamps (you missed them from the game BETH!)
