Is anyone else gonna be listening to Unknown Soldier by Breaking Benjamin while playing Dawnguard?

That is just a regular mage robe with steel plate gauntlets. The Vigilants of Stendarr wear that combo all the time in regular Skyrim.

Does anyone else think that when they get Vampire Lord form they will just run around and kill everything? I think that is what I am going to do. As a Role Playing thing though, I will only transform at night. Does anyone know if using powers while in normal form will add to perks?

I think that you hang out with the Dawnguard at first, but once you learn about Vampires you have to choose. So that probably won't work out haha. Just play through it twice. Once as a Lord and another as a tiny, insignificant, powerless hunter :)

That is what having two characters both leveled up high is for haha, but we have to wait to see how cool the Dawnguard actually all and if they have good intentions or just have some underhanded plot of their own...

It would be great to see more werewolf specific DLC in the future, though im glad to see that a perk tree was added.

There is. If you find a Silver Hand base and let the Werewolf out you can get the disease. I tried it once, but I didn't realize that Spell Absorption counted for disease. I had the Atronach Stone and 50% resist disease, making it very hard to contract anything... I ended up killing it and leaving haha

Couple of questions about the Vamp transformation before I start working on re-making one of my chars. (If anyone knows, of course...)

1. During the transformation, are equipped items stripped ala Werewolf transformation? (Btw, that crap is annoying, Bethesda.)
2. Assuming items are not stripped during the transformation, do they have any effect? (IE, does armor still work, weapons, etc)

Bonus Question:

Regarding the Staff of Magnus... does Bethesda ever intend to fix it? While I realize due to lore and system mechanics you'd never get the absorb magicka effect as you'd think (the staff essentially drinks it), I see no reason that the absorb health portion wouldn't function like a normal absorb health spell.

Bonus Question #2:

Will Morokei ever be fixed? As in... where's my shout time reduction -.-

From what I've seen a vampire can snack on a human in combat now so next time those bandits might wanna think before they act.

According to what I saw in the gameplay video, yes, equipped items are stripped. This is good for werewolves since it emphasizes their bestial/animal nature. It's a bit odd for the Vampire Lord, though I suppose it makes sense since they're aiming for the form to be a caster/mage type, compared to the werewolf form being a melee/warrior type.

I dunno, mounted combat on a Nightmare sounds way better than just riding a dragon. Did anyone else see that? Black horse with blue flames... totally calling it now - a Nightmare.

Flinging spells from a Necromage Vamp atop a Nightmare? Heh heh... Oh, that'll be so much fun.
