Dawnguard DLC Discussion - Thread #36

Do you not like the giving of fishy sticks?

I've never done it. I never got one, and I've never clicked on the links when people handed them out so overall it's not me not liking them so much as it I don't understand it. What's the story behind it anyway?

Just take the time to read all of the documentation that they present to you. It'll all be clear after that.

I know this must have been asked, but a search didn't lead to any answers.

Thanks in advance for any info;

-Has there been any strong indication or verification that those of us who haved cured our characters of lycanthropy can become werewolves again? I am interested in the werewolf perk tree, but I don't want to start a new character.

Give it time. You're not the only one

At any rate, perhaps we should get back on track? We seem to have stopped contributing to the topic at hand. (coughcoughDawnguardcoughcough)

I, for one, will probably end up starting a new character for the path I don't choose with my Argonian (main file) even though I have two characters. I'd like to experience it from a beginning standpoint too, not just an overpowered one XD

I have been thinking of something.
the vampire lord is a great spellcaster, and you get a couple of spells when becoming a vampire lord,But when you are using these spells,Will you level up your magic skills by using them as a vampire lord?
Like summoning a gargoyle, conjuration? and other destruction spells. will you level up these skills?

I believe using any of them levels up your Vampire skilltree, not any Magic school.

Where?
It's in the quote nearest the bottom.
I don't know how many caught my post from earlier since I don't see the information posted in the OP, but I found information in an IGN article confirming that you will be able to reclaim your werewolf abilities after curing yourself from being a vampire lord. Not much else is known right now as to how it will work exactly, though.

I saw it. But i forgot to add it.
That's why I used the term "lycanthrope," because of that detail in lore. But there aren't even those in Skyrim.

Also, I read GStaff confirmed that there will be no werewolf content at all beyond the perk tree. So no wild werewolves.
? Where did he say that? Contradicting info?!?!?!?!

What exactly was in the older games that's in Dawnguard besides Crossbow's? Nothing? Exactly.

Disregard my statement about no wild werewolves and things. It's a misinterpretation of what GStaff said about werewolves not being involved with Dawnguard. I now think GStaff just meant that werewolves will not be involved with the Dawnguard faction. Considering the confirmations that there will be a new power that will call werewolves to your side and the ability to become a werewolf after becoming cured, it seems likely that there will be wild werewolves. Otherwise, where would the other werewolves come from?

The Hunting Grounds of Hircine maybe  I'll update the OP.

What are you talking about? Or is it something I don't want to know.

I see, you're (tankbuster322) joining the Dawnguard. I didn't know what you initially meant.

It's Totem of the Moon. You can clearly see it in Gamespot's video.
