Yeah,If you are doing the quest "Arniel's Endeavor" It will lead you there. Not spoiling anything if you havent done that quest :)

I'll go do that now. Arniel is the Conjuration trainer guy right? I'll do that quest with my Dunmer Arch Mage. Seems fitting.

Well, it's a add-on not an expansion. It will probably be decently sized, if they're doing the Fallout 3 type DLC they'll do a lot of DLC anyway.

It is twice as expensive as a Fallout 3 DLC. Also, it is on a much slower release schedule - by the time Dawnguard is released, most of the Fallout 3 would already have been released. So I think we should reasonably expect something larger than a Fallout 3 DLC.

Well from the Birch trees it is likely that the Dawnguard fortress is in the rift.

Also there is an obvious relation between these vampires and Molag Bal(the Vamp Lord's Pin, The Blood Bowl - the bigger version of the Mace of M.Bal).

Also(eh) in the beginning we see a clearly Nordic ship and while reading the Elder Scroll we see a clearly new species of butterflies or Moths. Do you See what I did here? Brain pie for everyone! Freshly harvested!

But bethesda have said that the DLCs for skyrim will feel more like big expansions :(
And i actually think this wont be that big,But i am still excited..
But i dont think we will get new towns,Villages, and that kind of stuff, maybe not even many side quests.

Well, how much did Shivering Isles cost to begin with?

That could clue us in on what exactly to expect for $20.

Im pretty sure they will be locate inside Skyrim, replacing some wilderness area. I dont think Bethesda will use a entire new province for one DLC.
I agree and maybe they'll have some portal to that other mysterious realm we saw in the trailer.

That's just those areas corrupted by Cold Harbour.
Cold Harbour is exactly the same as Tamriel but twisted and corrupted by hate and other depressing things.

Is it? wow,I didnt know that. Thats pretty cool. But maybe in future DLCs we will get to visit friendly villages and get to more cities and get sidequests etc. So if we get to cold harbour,Do you think its the entire province of skyrim? or something?

Well... for the island of the castle, I'd say... Olenveld or Roscrea. Same for some of the places we have seen. The frost giant is reminiscent of Solstheim, so he could live on another northern Island.

For the other realm... Well, it looks like Coldharbour to me. Moreover, Molag Bal is the creator of Vampires. However, two other hypothesis have been put forward.

First, those vampires ... well, don't look like the average TES vampire. I may be wrong, but so far, vampires had nothing to do with bats in TES.

So maybe they are some kind of "werebats" servicing Namira, hence this mould be Namira's realm. Moreover, in Oblivion, Namira gave the player a spell called "Namira's shroud" used to extinguish the light brought by priests of Arkay to a dark Ayleid ruin... And it seems that the "werebats" want to extinguish light at a much, much larger scale.

Another hypothesis I heard is that the strange deathly realm shown in the trailer could be the Soul Cairn, which is some independant territory of Oblivion, outside the jurisdiction of the various Princes, and ruled by some unknown "race", the members of which call themselves "the Ideal Masters". Could those, err vampires, be in fact the Ideal Masters?

Also, could these beasts be... Morpho?d Daedra?

Yep, I hope it. They could have re-used many models and pieces of geography. It wouls be quite awesome, as it would make the game instantly twice as big as it was.

Yeah,But i guess it will be no friendly cities and villages then x) Since everything is going to be demonic and depressing there!
Maybe a fun place to just go and have a killing rampage.. Anyway the dawnguard place looks pretty big.

Your both right. There are actually two roads to Morrowind. One being near Riften with a gate and a road leading out to Morrowind near Refugee Rest. There is a journal sitting on a pillar that is written on behalf of all the Jarl's of Skyrim. The refugee rest is for those who were fleeing from Morrowind due to Red Mountain bowing its top off. However, if you talk to the Dark Elves in Whindhelm, they will tell you that they set up camp and stayed in Whindhelm due to it being the closest city to Morrowind. And that its the first city they came across when they were traveling. And Refugee's Rest isn't far from Whindhelm. And Boethias Shrine is up the mountain from Refugees Rest. A small small path from Refugee's Rest leads up to Boethias Shrine.

That crossbow is very obviously of the Nordic steel design. I'd say the Dawnguard are sonewhere in Skyrim, and vampire fortress is on an island somewhere.
