Did you ever play so long that...

Did you ever play so long that you have difficulty using the controls correctly, like pressing the wrong buttons and going into the wrong menus? One time I played well over 24 hours straight, maybe even 2 days. I think that was the longest I ever stayed awake.

I don't have to be tired to press the wrong button or go into the wrong menu.

I stayed up 24+ hours once or twice simply because I couldn't sleep, and had to go to work, so I was on my feet and moving constantly. I sit in a comfortable recliner when gaming, and so when my body tells me that I'm tired, I will pass out in the middle of a dragon fight. I've fallen asleep standing up before.

After a few hours of gaming, I have to get up and walk around. I can't stay stationary for too long. To think that there are those who develop blood clots and die from not eating, sleeping or moving during long gaming sessions...

Can't say I ever played 24 hours straight. That's insane! I've never gone long enough to not tell which button I'm pressing, either.

I'm not sure what the longest gaming session I've ever had was. Can't be much more than 10 hours, if that. A typical Oblivion gameplay session for me averages 2-3 hours. For Skyrim, it might be 4 or 5 hours. But I always take little breaks and stuff.

Only thing I've ever done for 24 hours non-stop is Powerball, but I could easily spend a day or two Skyrimming if I had the chance!!

In my youth I could do that. Not these days.
If I have too much ale or mead I tend to hit the wrong buttons and make silly decisions. :)

There's plenty of time to sleep when you're dead.

Until then, there's the Elder Scrolls to play.

Longest session I ever played was Fable 3. I picked the game up at midnight and played until ten the following night. I was so tired I had tears running down my face. LOL

72ish hours is my longest run. Non stop killlzone 2 rampage, might of beaten it with battlefield 3 but the memory of KZ2 is stronger lol

My concept of time becomes non-exsistant when playing skyrim so I dunno know how I've been playing it lol

My longest runs were with Morrowind, in Skyrim I think the longest was a 10-11 hours session when I got the game.

I remember that day it was November 11th 2011. I came out of my room 23 hours 43 minutes later. I will never do that again. Because the following day i had the worst head ache ever, it felt like my eyes were going to explode....they didn't though so I went back in there about 4 hours later and played for another 12 hours.

No, i didn't keep track of the time i just looked at hours played when i reloaded my save.

My actual longest game session was when Skyrim dropped. I got home from the midnight release and played for 36 hours straight. Then I slept for 12 hours... to let my Xbox rest. ;)

Well i dont know about playing so long motor functions get impaired but when playing Oblivion during a pretty busy period in 2006 i found myself constantly nodding off eventhough i really wanted to play. Now i just take a twenty minute nap and am good to go wide eyed and cleared mind.

As for longest gaming runs that would be all night sessions starting from 11pm to 6am playing Tes 2 Daggerfall. For longest once or twice gaming session it would be the first Starcraft playing from 7pm til 5am during a multilplayer match with my brother inlaw over the weekends. Eventually we had to stop that pretty quick since someone had to go to church the next day and read from the pulpit.

I cannot play anything for more than 3-4 hours before I must stop. Gaming is fun and all, but I hate hate hate hate staying stationary and not doing anything productive.

I've got some catching up to do. I've not played for anywhere near as long as those in one session. Though, there was one night a little while ago, I was so tired all I wanted to do was sleep but I couldn't because I was ill so I spent the entire night playing Skyrim. Come to think of it, I was playing it most of the day before as well

played a whole weekend away once. Had to stop cause everything was blending together. I lost track of where I was, what quest I was on. I came across places I don't know if I made up in my mind or if they existed.

Yea it does start to nag at ones noggin if i play during the day. Fortunately i seem to be naturally playing during the late evening hours just like i used to do with Tes 2 Daggerfall.

Meh. I hate staying in one place/doing one thing for too long. So I'll just do something else.

Maybe I don't have a comfy enough chair, but I can't go much longer than about 5-6 hours.

When you start to hallucinate or think your hallucinating it's definitely time to take a nap.
