I'd be curious to know how much customer goodwill this will cost them. It isn't easy placing a dollar value on things like that.
Also, the polling question really is poorly written. Unless its just meant to annoy the users of the other platforms. Something along the lines of, has the exclusivity deal made you re-think or negate your desire to purchase this dlc? Might have been better.

Personally, I don't much care myself. However, I would like for such exclusivity deals to be announced before the game is released. Even if it is to tell me I won't be getting DLC indefinitely. I'd much rather know beforehand.
To be fair, those decisions may not get made beforehand, but I'd really prefer if they were, and announced.
On my 'good' side, I own both a PS3 and a 360, as well as a gaming PC. It could actually affect my decision as to which version to get. Now typically, it won't if the PC is involved [for me], but still it's the principle.
