On the subject of firearms, the important thing to consider is not if it's realistic for them to be included or if it fits.
Consider: Why? What reason do we have to include guns? Aren't the games already great?
Besides I'd rather have Bethesda focus on the story, characters and
expanding the skills, combat, character development and such.
Of course, I would to, but why not? It could open a whole new range of tactics for a rogue - dual wield handcannons and kite them around the room, whilst laying down traps. It encourages an alternative playstyle and an option to archery. But it would be balanced; because it would make a godawful noise and be useless to an assassin, and because you couldn't poison it, in addition to being useless at range due to inaccuracy. Actually, I can see the playstyle evolving now; Slow poison a fast firing, low tier bow, then kite them with handcannons.
