how did ur Khajiit kill anything if u only used sneak and pickpockt and lock picking? did u sneak past the dragon pick his pocket and lock pick him to death????

I never had to sneak past a dragon because my Khajiit never took part in the main quest. You realize that the only way dragons can spawn is if you do the first part of the main quest, right? Nothing in the game says you have to do this. You can ignore pretty much everything if you want.

I made a Dark Elf murderer once who ran up a 300k bounty in whiterun in mere seconds after he was popped out of the tutorial. Wanna know what happened? The Dark Brotherhood started sending assassins to kill him, as did the Thalmor and plenty of Thugs and Mercenaries too. I couldn't sleep in the darkest corner of Skyrim without waking up and walking outside to an ambush. Needless to say, he got killed. But this just goes to show you that the game was made to be played in a fashion that suits the player. Plenty of RPG elements there, but you have to play the game to experience it.

I like Skyrim because the game doesn't decide what my character is, I do. I made an Imperial spellsword with whom I've played as for 200+ hours. I just started a new game as a Redguard warrior, with only basic magical abilities. The thing about The Elder Scrolls is that it changes with each game, but the basics remain the same. It's an RPG, if you can't role play in what is considered role playing game, I suggest not playing it at all, and certainly not making an account to simply complain without any constructive purpose.

It's good that you like this game, again it is your opinion just like we have aware opinion, and so we say aware opinion just like you. sending feed back to the developers
about there game is how it gets better no matter what type of post it is whether it be complaining or not.

I understand the OP's opinion, but the way it's stated and the replies that were made make it hard to respect it.

Despite the fact that it has been known for a while now that hand to hand was not a skill, it is in the heavy armor because when you hit someone with a metal gauntlet, it's going to hurt more than with your bare fists or a leather glove. Characters do not start out all the same. Stat-wise sure, but you ultimately are in control of that by what you do with the game. I have three different characters going, all with different areas of expertise. I use my Argonian in stealthy/assassin situations so he will be better with thief skills while having more stamina. My Nord warrior has more health and stamina while kicking ass with a blade and shield. My Breton mage is great with destruction and alteration, as well as being a smooth talker, so he will be better with those skills than with a sword. Every character is different after YOU advance them in the game.

i know this but in the other Elder Scrolls you got to choose what you start out with not you gotta build them all off the same starting [censored] that they made you have. at least in the other ones you had control of what you had at the beginning

Actually, pumpkin, using proper spelling, grammar, capitalization, and punctuation improves your ability to convey the message you are trying to deliver with the written word. So yes, the youth of the world will be better because their grammar is better than yours.

And all I hear in this jumble of a sentence is "WAHHHH change is bad! WAHHH I don't like making big difficult choices!". I like this system better because I can just do whatever whenever. It was nice in Morrowind, being able to say, "I want to be a warrior" and poof I'm a warrior from the get go. But this adds versatility to play styles. It could use work, yes, but it's a step in the right direction.

Skyrim is beter than Oblivion but are far away from the throne where Morrowind sits, you can still choose skills like heavy armor, one handed and restoration but you will never get as high level as someone who max out all their skills.

step in the wrong direction. why the f-u-c-k make me start with the same lame s-h-i-t my previous character started out with slowing down my build when i could have started my build before i started the game. yea thank you for making my build take hours longer than what it should have. like what the hell do i want with the skills i wont ever use. why not just let me choose what i want before i start. its not like i go to a fast food place drive up and they just hand me a sack and tell me to go home and make my own meal after they made me something that has nothing to do with what i want. yes thank you for the worthless garbage you just wasted that i wont use. congratz u just made the same starting build. hope what you wanted to make was actually higher than 15. wait i forgot you dont care what i want to start with. why take away the thing that gave the player control of the character from the beginning. instead now i gotta wait longer to start the character i would like to be. now i gotta go through with [censored] i dont want cuz u took away my customizing ability. wait no i can make my character look like whatever i want.....he just wont have the skills i want till sometime in the future

Do you realize how long it takes to max out you character on Oblivion and Morrowind, I bet you it is the same in Skyrim the only thing is every character that you make is the same THAT...IS...BORING to me, I would rather anime all daylong.

What throne does Morrowind sit on? It was one of the most simple and easy games to complete of all time. All you had to do was start a new character and run to Vivec, steal everything in Vivec and sell it back and then train all of your skills to 100 at which point nothing in the game could lay a finger on you. Enchanting in Morrowind was even more ridiculous than it is in Skyrim since you could enchant more items. The game was just way too easy to exploit and the quests became less intriguing once you became a super god that could clown stomp anything in the game. I soloed Vivec himself at level 40, needless to say I was very disappointed in how easy the game was.

Morrowind was a great for two reasons. Number one, it had an ultra realistic enviornment that resembled more of a sci-fi theme and combined it with old school RPG elements. Number two, it was revolutionary because of the graphics detail it offered for its time. Other than these two things, Morrowind was bland and easy.
