Enclave DLC?

Post » Fri Apr 08, 2011 3:09 am

I think an enclave dlc could be in order, Like what if after you fixed ED-E he started broadcasting to the enclave again and they figured out what was going on with the BoS and decided to comeback and retake New Vegas and then you have a choice to try and save whatever faction is your favorite and repel them again. Just a thought.

Did you read any of the posts at all. THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH OF THEM TO DO JACK [censored]UFF. They r all old and grey or dead or hiding. Why would they care if bos is hiding in a hole in nv????

Why would they want to take nv if there were enough left?????

If you count Broken Steel its three times.

That was the same Enclave. They know where stuff is at that no one else does. They do see you, because they have control of work orbital missle platfoms and satellites. You better be good.....

NCR captured Navarro. We learn that in New Vegas.

Vertibirds arn't able to fly 3000 miles non-stop. They can only fly something like 500 miles (generous) before they need maintenance and fuel.

they are also destroyed in the East as well.

They came from Navarro before it fell to NCR. The Enclave in DC did not know about it, hence the reason they sent ED-E.

I think maybe a patch with an expansion of the Enclave Remnants, but's thats it.

We've flugerized enough of the Enclave over the years.

Maybe a Followers DLC? Or a Kings one?

Actually, any minor faction in FNV (aside from NCR, Enclave, or BOS)

If these potential DLCs were well cooked before they came out of the oven, there would be plenty of happy Fallout gamers.

A Followers or Great Khans DLC would be best. But as stated above, any minor faction DLC would be good. An Enclave DLC would make little or no sense concidering what happened to them in FO2 & FO3. Only a DLC interducing a new minor faction of people who are decendants of an Enclave group, ( a generation or two removed), would be only if handled right. Meaning they'd have limited old Enclave resorces, and a reason, (a good reason.... lol), to be around.

Midwestern Brotherhood would not know of the Enclave. They ended up in Chicago before the events of Fallout 2. Five years before Lyons was born.

Brotherhood can be completely avoided in Fallout and there is only a couple of BoS in Fallout 2 and one quest, which can also be avoided.

thing about small factions is that most of them were in vegas before and used to be big but failed to get bigger, what makes you think they could succeed this time?

my point at that the kings used to be a big family vying to be a big family in vegas, like the omertas but they fell horribly, because mr.house didnt accept them into vegas as one of the big boys. same with the great cons, but different story.

I mean having a minor faction DLC something like this;

For an example, have two minor factions like the Khans and the Followers, (or anyone else for that matter). While doing the main questline of the DLC, you also have involved side quests dealing with the minor factions, (sort of like the questline of the Kings but more complex). From those side quests you get learn more of the history and reasons why those minor factions are the way they are. A branch of the main questline might take you to the minor faction area. That way you can involve yourself with the minor faction's business.... or not, your choice.

they probably not going to involve any DLCS involving the reputation of the mojaves current factions because of the fact that you may have a low rep with that faction therefore they may add them but it probably wont do anything to reputation with factions. kind of like dead money, its involveing the BOS but dosnt do anything to reputation.

No way do I want the Enclave back just to be more generic cannon fodder. If they were to bring them back at this point just to please a handfull of fans who dont know anything about the history of this game and the lore it would just cheapen the franchise worse than Mothership Zeta did.
I want to see more of the Legion in a dlc, even though I hate them in game it would be cool to get to see more of them and learn more about their history and culture other than just what we hear from Ceasar and a handfull of other npc's.
That being said, I wouldn't mind seeing more of the Brotherhood when we go to the Big Empty. Mountain full of pre-war tech seems right up their alley.

your basicly wanting the same thing i do, but in a different way, you want ceasars legion back to learn of their history, and i want the Enclave back to learn of their history even though i hate them.

A Great Khan one would make no sense either since I killed every single last one of them. See some of them helped Benny try to kill me, so since they are a gang the rest were guilty by association. I even killed Boone s sniper buddy in novac for aiding and abedding.

So again with 45 different endings for each of the smaller groups the dlcs can not extend anyones story but the couriers.
