Enclave DLC?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 2:16 am

Mr Enclave Im not saying the virus would not have worked in a large area, but the chances if it being a global killer are slim to none. I don t want to see them at all in a dlc or anytime soon, I m just providing a canon wah Enclave COULD come back down the road. That is all. Im not an Enclave or fo expert, but I do try to read about the over all story to understand it. My idea would not go against canon, and would far more logical than a virus killing every humanoid in the world by releasing it in the jet stream. Bad guys are always wrong about things in games or movies, they also lie as well.

Obviously, Richardson is gloating to you hours before he will win; he also goads you to just go ahead and shoot him if you have to because of his confidence in the Project and it's unstoppablility, he even tells you his men have orders to shoot through him if neceassry and that he has no value as a bargining chip if held hostage, nothing will stop the Project.

You know what, I've seen people call this card on almost everything so you know what, [censored] it; I'm calling SCIENCE! on this, you don't think that the virus works, yeah well they have SCIENCE! so it does. The pre-war virus that it was based on turned men in Super Mutants, the pre-war world has robots working from organic brains, who are you to quote the Black Death and say, "Yup wasn't as good as he though."

Mr. Enclave the fev that turns people to super mutants is localized. It fails many times as well. It was supposed to make super soilders that think clearly, and can follow orders from humans. Intead most of them have a much lower I.Q. than humans. Only ones like Marcus and the 1st gen mutants worked like they should have. I d have to play fo and do more pre war reasearch to be sure, but I don t have the feeling fev did exactly what is was ment to do.

Because new science fails many times before it is perfected. That is why they ran so many tests with it before the war. Vault 87 tells us those scientists were having a very hard time getting the results the military wanted.

Good science is based on many many tests until it is perfected or abandoned. The virus did not get released any way and the small valt in the Congo or where ever would have been sealed even if it did get released. Even if there was no contact at that time Enclave in remote sections of the world would not all have died....

You don't know that, can't prove it, I go by what people actually say; why are you so stubborn? SCIENCE! gave the Fallout world car sized nuclear reactors, power armour, laser rifles and a global killing virus.

Im not really hard headed I m just looking for a "yeah It COULD happen" Must fo is kind of believable. They have been experimenting with laser weapons in real life for years. The entire pre war time line is well thought out, and today s world is shaping into the fo time line. None of what goes on in that pre war time line is very far fetched. We can clone biological organisms right now, so by 2060s the thought of trying to make super soilders is really logical. Especially going by a 50s frame of mind, becausd they did some really nasty experimenting back they top secret. They may still do it today top secret. The pre war fo time line is brilliant.

No.

I want new enemies, not rehashed old ones.

Besides, Enclave Remnants means Enclave Remnants. We do all know what "remnants" means, yes?

It means you have to make them the Bowser of the Fallout series.

No, not really. Just wanted to say that.

So Mr. Enclave this will more that likely be my final point in this matter.

Fo2 was put out in 1998. The bible was put of between 15, January 2002 and 7 November 2002. Why would Avellone contradict his own game???

In his email to Styles he says Bethesda decides what s canon. Even if he could tell us he would not, because that would be like Stephen King telling us about his next novel. My idea has who, what, when, where, how and why. Those are key factors to the evolution of a fictional story. I was in college and learned how fictional stories work.
Just because I m looking at a small window on a ps3 with no help tools and a word limit, does not mean I do not know how to write a fictional story or at least understand how they work.

I got great grades on college writing assignments. I could bring them back down the road based on prior info thar would be logical and not break canon.

Just because I write like [censored] on a ps3 does not mean this is all I can do.

The Bible made quite a few accidental contradictions, I've explained why I think it's stupid, you disagree, that's your choice and I am done talking about it; done nothing but defend myself all day today. I don't jusge people on poor typing, too much, I know you write on a PS3 because you have mentioned it before, I just don't agree with your reasoning.

Then do so at some point and we'll be the judge; play Fallout 2 when you get the chance, it's good.

I will play them, because I want to know the story better. Turn based map nodes don t bother me, because I grew up with them. I ll get them all, because my PC will run them once it is fixed. I ve checked.....

You re not defending yourself from me Mr. Enclave, because I am not attacking you. We just had a healthy discussion that we don t agree on.

I don t feel you attacked me. I most certainly did not attack you.

Nothing like that, it's just that I've been discussing with Styles for hours now and I'm just tired.

Since the East-coast BoS is lead by the more communal Lyons they could simply absorb/recruit the the Enclave remnants in their area as they still have The Pitt factions to deal with and the techno oriented Commonwealth and their unkown agenda with replicants possibly on the march. But the Enclave on in the west I would have to agree is a dead faction and unless there is a drastic change in leadership they are dying out also.

No. There should not be BoS DLCs, no enclave, no zombies, no aliens, no multiplayer, no ties with Fallout 3, no super lasers, no drivable cars, no planes, no Co Op, no pre war, no invincibility, no more dumb DLCs, no energy swords, no energy shields, no Europe, no Japan, no space ships, no moon, no jet boards, no rocket shoes, no jet packs, no "just bottlecaps" DLCs, no "just weapons" DLCs, no dual wielding DLCs, no traveling to Oblivion, no DLCs that allow fan made mods for your PS3 or Xbox, no Chinese invaders, no CoD ports, nothing related Halo, no play-after-you-beat-the-game DLCs, no DLCs that add animals to the game that you can have has pets, no pet stores, no DLCs that spawn an identical copy of the Strip so you can continue gambling after you break the casino banks, no dinosaurs, no hover cars, no celebrities("I want Jessica Alba"... why in the hell would she be in Fallout???), no DLCs that allow you to put your ipod playlist into the game, no nvde DLCs, no level 100 cap DLCs, no giant robots, no teleporters, no time travel, no parrots, no presidents brought back to life, no GTA references, no there will not be a DLC that allows you to travel to the world of Family Guy, no rap, no plastic bubbles, no submarines that you can drive and raid base with because it turns out they have the power to fly, no perk that allows you to fly, no flying period!, no casting fireballs, no cheat terminals, no mutant jelly fish that you can have as a companion...The list goes on.

This is no offense to your thread, and this thread is considered one of the normal ones I have seen, it is just they are dead, they won't magically come back to life.

Thanks for that info. I was thinking about Tactics today and a few contradictions in the intro. One can't really be explained away, it was a mistake. The part about the BoS coming from a Vault. The other about the Vault program. Then it came to me that Tactics might have come out before the Bible. Were alot of the info on the Vault program came from. So any contradictions Tactics might have made when it comes to the Vaults were not on purpose. Can't contradict something that was not writen yet. So in away the info about entire vaults being lost and plans bairly being in place before the bombs fell is the canon and not the bible :ermm:

Maybe I should not have brought that up here.

Edit: Bible is semi-canon at best.

Real life history has a few contradictions in it, depending on who's telling the story. Why shouldn't FO history have a few contradictions also. Just go see Abraham at Rivet City in FO3 and listion to his story of America for a prime example of this.

Fallout will always have contradictions. Every Fallout has them. Its wheather they go against canon or not, that is the problem. I think it was J.E Sawyer that said every Fallout has contradictions and he is right.

not a bad thoght, acctually there IS no enclave, anymore at least. us and the remnants can merge together and have two different branches, one for rebuilding america, the other, for what we are currently doing right now, but im not sure that the rest of the brotherhood, or even the enclave would agree with me.

The Enclave in the East were said invaders they had no previous ties to that area other than a strong sense of historical patriotism. A conquered people can become allies; its happened before. At least that's what I took from the games story but I could be wrong or misinterpreting.

In a survival based environment and there being a number of younger leaderless recruits with access to deadly tech it would make sense for them to approached by someone charismatic and put those resources to use. I am not talking good or bad motivations but from logistics and political standpoint the stronger EC BoS could make appeals to the looser Enclave east coast remnants with the promise of amnesty and support in keeping their said tech operational. Plus if The Pitt/Commonwealth factions make hostile moves towards land/resource grabbing there would be further incentive to unite against a common foe. FNV is kinda all about that kind of scenario. Hell the BoS Outcasts could make unification appeals to the EC Enclave just to get ahead of the radical Lyons and his agenda.

Enclave see everyone but themselves as mutants. The Enclave feel they r the only pure humans left on earth. Radiation changes dna structure. Enclave dosen t like that........

Maybe a few soilders that don t buy into the idea would do it, but Enclave as a whole has no interest in joining mutants.

The only past I think they have is fo3. Go read about bos and Enclave on wiki you ll get a much better idea of what the 2 r about. Try to learn the history of the prior games.

fo is not about bos and Enclave. They r only a part of this bloody chapter of human history.
