I also got the fragmented message, something like 3244020240% fragmented.

...Thats..quite a lot.

Also decrypting, but man is this agonisingly slow...

Awesome... So it decrypted, tried to run it and suddenly -> 1GB download? I already pre-loaded it, what the hell is going on now?...

EDIT: apparently, the pre-load somehow missed a whole 1GB file - 'Fallout - Textures.bsa'

File verification, maybe?

Perhaps try letting it run for a few minutes to see if it whizzes through.

If not, get a mug of coffee and endure, I feel your pain.

Decrypting right now... 41%, about 5 mins so far.... did someone say there's a 1gig download after that? Ah well, I've waited this long... another while won't kill me. Yay! I'll be playing soon. SOON!

Edit, 1:32am: finished decrypting, then it did a 17mb update... wonder what that was? I got the 250mb patch earlier... now to play! Cover me, I'm going in...
Edit 2: now I think of it, that last update was probably to disable steam cloud until the sort out the problem, see first sticky in this forum, message from Obsidian and Beth.

I already downloaded it yesterday (5 1/2 hours, yikes!) so it was a quick matter to install it when it went live. I had to log out of my Steam account and log back in before it let me do it though!

I also got the fragmentation message, there is no way my HDD is that fragmented, I've only had this PC a couple of weeks and there's barely anything on the HDD yet, so I just ignored it.

Running fine and enjoying it so far :)

Mine still hasn't arrived :banghead:

on the plus side, Bethesda released another update last night for the "Steamcloud save issue", so when it does arrive the major bugs will be squished.

Got up, patched, launched had a near-flawless blast. Only one crash which came outta nowhere after FT'ing and a minor GFX glitch that I solved by restarting. I'm on the PC

Installed really fast from disc last night and it was nice to have a patch waiting, only played to create my char just to see how well it runs (amazingly fyi).

Has anyone who pre-ordered from GAME.co.uk been emailed their pre order classic pack code yet?

I was given my preorder code on a little credit card type thing when I collected my copy last night from the store.

Installed from disk - no problems whatsoever
Updated to latest patches - no problems whatsoever
Added Caravan Pack - no problems (once I found out how lol)

Game launched, intro movie flawless, Docs house no problems (even the Face generator actually works great on this one, the FO3 one killed my machine)
Left the Docs, switched on hardcoe mode... off we go!

No slowdowns, crashes, glitches, out-of-sync audio, practically perfect. Tbh I was fearing the worst after the threads of the last week, but it runs better than FO3 so far *touch wood* (PC Version). Only one criticism - yeah, the running animation has a slight limp or something.

Only real problem - I don't have time to play it right now! arghghgh! lol

I was actually talking about people who pre-ordered online, they said the codes would be sent via email today :P

Just emailed GAME support and they replied in about 20 minutes with my pre order code :)

The first email with it is probably held up in the interwebs somewhere.

Got a message that my copy has been sent, 2-4 days, which means earliest at tuesday, and latest at thursday. Oh well, gives me time to finish my Fallout 3 playtrough, and maybe some mods that make it easier to play (*cough*UI*cough*) ;)
