Anybody ever had a game delivered by HDNL before? If so, do you have to sign for it?

Wondering why a single player game needs steam activation.

As other people here I have got the game but steam prevents me playing it.

So disappointing and disappointed.

Any idea when it's released in finland, at midnight, 01:00 or 02:00?

02:00. I know it because i'm from Finland too :P

4 more hours to go.

Edit: It's actually 03:00 now, and we've got 4 hours and about 44 mins to go.

WWJD? Well I think every year on this day, for the rest of his life he would phone them up and ask if they got that collectors edition in that he ordered in 2010. Considering he lives for inifinity + 1, they're going to get tired sooner or later and send it to him.

...What?

Sorry to hear about your troubles there dude. I don't rate GAME at all. Its stores or online. The only good thing about GAME is when it bought out Gamestation, it didn't change the way Gamestation worked, which is odd, because it works infinitely better than the way GAME operates. It was in direct competition and rapidly growing precisely because it operates better.

GAME is overpriced, Gamestation is reasonable. GAME gets tomatoes thrown at its store windows, Gamestation gets flashers pressing up against it windows. Gamestation employs gaming enthusiasts who know what they're talking about and love games. GAME employs balding middle-aged blokes who know how to work a cash register and who owned ZX Spectrum once.

Your post reminded me of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7uvttu8ct0 with the reservations though. Heh ha. :)

Thanks dude, it worked out though I'll buy the collect edit on an online store instead, sadly it will come in 5-6 days so I'll have to buy the standard on friday or I'll die from anticipation.. But not from GAME! :brokencomputer:

My Steam version is downloaded in an hour. Too bad there's still about 5 hours to wait for the unlock

A question about the steam version: Do mods work with it (mostly just patches and simple tweaks that don't really alter the gameplay)?

Well, if mods work with other Bethesda games, they work on FNV. I bought Morrowind on Steam and mods work fine, so they should work fine in FNV too.

Sorry honey - it's always been 1am in the UK. It's because it's still British Summertime here and we're not in line with GMT at the moment. Meh.

Huh? Why is a Japanese publisher publishing the game in the EU, Australia and New Zealand but Beth is publishing it in the US, United Kingdom(s?) and JAPAN!

4 hours 4 minutes 3 seconds until Fallout: New Vegas is released in Europe.

Damn, not gonna wait then.. Probably take a shower (took a show in monday last time), go to bed, read the manual until i fall asleep and cry myself to sleep (those 2 at the same time). I hope i can just start it and play at the morning, i just hate it when i buy a game and i have to spend hours trying to get it working.

I'm gonna take a shower and then just sit here and wait until I can finally play it. About 4 hours to go. 4 boring hours...

... except if I play a lot of Team Fortress 2 :)

The best thing right now would be to go to bed, but I think I'll still rewatch Inland Empire and use the remaining hour(s) to decipher it without really getting anywhere.

For half of the year, from the last Sunday in October to the last Sunday in March, yes, However, the other half of the year, the half we are in, we are in GMT+1, British Summer Time. You know, that whole clock changing thing that happens twice a year? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Summer_Time

So, we are getting it at 12:01AM, but for us that is 1:01AM BST

I almost always feel there aren't enough hours in the day, but time can really slow to a crawl when you're waiting for something, with the hours ticking by at what seems like a fraction of their usual pace. Even if you try to distract your mind with other tasks - TV, movies, games, whatever - there's always that little annoying part of your brain focused on the thing you're waiting for and continually slowing down the clock :).
