Does anyone know where to get the collector's edition for PC in Europe?

You can get it from game.

Bah! If it weren't for you Scots and Irish there'd be no such thing. lol Ha ha.

I'll be activating mine some time tomorrow afternoon so hopefully will miss the rush of enthusiastic Europeans kicking Steam's doors in and getting clogged in the door frame.

On behalf of both our wonderful nations, I apologise for your wait. :D

Got it as well 2day - surprisingly fast delivery considering the normal time and while knew with steam I couldn’t play it until tomorrow very frustrated to find out can't even install (and more importantly) patch it before the US wakes up and lags the download speed to hell :(

U can pre-load .... after u tried activating it, fallout new vegas should showup in your game's list but greyed out ofc, select it and pre-load ;)

So close now.. So very close..

BTW, being addicted to these forums but not wanting to be spoiled, lets keep this thread spolier-less since some people seem to confuse Cheats, Hints and Spoilers with General Discussion. Of course I also want to find out what weapons there are but please possible american posters, not too detailed ;)

Still 7-8 hours to go on that damn Steam unlock (I have pre-loaded). I'm contemplating taking a nap later so I can stay awake all night, otherwise I'm only likely to have an hour or two after the unlock (assuming it isn't delayed any number of hours, which certainly wouldn't be the first time for Steam) before I'm likely to be too tired to continue playing.
The great thing about being self-employed is that I don't have to get up early for work tomorrow :).

In six hours and 20 minutes if they are on time - whenever that happens to be in Finland. It's at 2 AM here in Denmark.

So apperantly GAME (at least in Sweden) doesn't really seem to get the concept of pre-ordering, in that you are supposed to be guaranteed a product. They just called me saying that there was no collectors edit for me and that I'd have to settle for a standard one. This is particularly irritating since all other stores are booked up by now.

So just a heads up to GAME pre-orderers out there, they're crap ;)

It is terribly difficult to balance one's hours when waiting for an awesome game. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.

WWJD? Well I think every year on this day, for the rest of his life he would phone them up and ask if they got that collectors edition in that he ordered in 2010. Considering he lives for inifinity + 1, they're going to get tired sooner or later and send it to him.

Sorry to hear about your troubles there dude. I don't rate GAME at all. Its stores or online. The only good thing about GAME is when it bought out Gamestation, it didn't change the way Gamestation worked, which is odd, because it works infinitely better than the way GAME operates. It was in direct competition and rapidly growing precisely because it operates better.

GAME is overpriced, Gamestation is reasonable. GAME gets tomatoes thrown at its store windows, Gamestation gets flashers pressing up against it windows. Gamestation employs gaming enthusiasts who know what they're talking about and love games. GAME employs balding middle-aged blokes who know how to work a cash register and who owned ZX Spectrum once.

Your post reminded me of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7uvttu8ct0 with the reservations though. Heh ha. :)

Now hold on a second, six hours means it's at 3 am, if i understand correctly. Well, i wait for midnight, see if it's there, if it's not i play at morning, not a big deal. Ah, the whole weekend alone, take a wild quess what i am gonna do (starts with letter F) you dirties

Everything was much better when we had EB, Game and Gamestation and they were all seperate companies.

That said, fair shout to Game on this occasion, they delivered on time (technically 1 day early) and the price of the game on their site was as cheap as any other site.

I'm guessing you pre-ordered in-store and not on the web. (hope i'm right)
I used to work for them myself (5 years ago, things may have changed), and we had to do that often, ..... it stank!
Even worse when we were told to sell pre-ordered copies that had not been collected for 2 days.
Retail allocations seemed to be the major cause, but it hurt us being so near one of our "Flagship" stores,
whether we had twice the pre-orders they did or not.
However, their web store should be better they were working hard on it at the time and had invested in an impressive
distribution centre to support it.

I still use Game when shopping on the high street and pop in to see the guys, but all my pre-orders are done through
Play.com for the important stuff.
They have always delivered early and they have had better pre-order codes for the last 12 titles i have bought through
them.

Anyway, sorry you got the shaft :(
