I'm using the one called Improved Companions which bases how many you can hire on your CHAR. I like it because it gives the otherwise not-much-used stat a better reason to exist: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36949 I use the one that allows 3 humans/2non-human for 7 CHAR.

There's also mods that has no stat requirement concept and lets you just hire them all, but I don't remember the most popular one's name/url.

After you get "jumped" by BoS outside the bunker. You have to kill them.

After having Cass as a companion for ages, I have to swap her in for Lily. I always take my companions back to their base so they don't disappear. First time a comanion has made me feel bad.

Cass (as soon as we load Mojave Outpost): I'm so glad I left the outpost behind.

We enter the shop she sits in and she enters looking back at the door like she wants to leave.

Fire up the companion wheel.

Cass: Oh, this must be serious.

I felt so bad for leaving her there.

I find it quite amusing how most of the people at the Fort speak reasonably proper and in higher grammar yet they always say "Later" whenever you say goodbye
