EDIT: are there topic in the other sections of the fourm about this? If not keep it that way, I know alot of people on the Fallout and Elder scrolls section don't even bother to come here. I'd think it'd be funny.

I think it would be best if 1) the downtime happens exactly on April the 1st, 2) no changes at all are made to the forums except the community discussion gets removed, 3) Bambi's mother dies twice.

Anyways it wouldn't make sense for them to announce a new TES game when they only just unveiled New Vegas. Bethesda would be stepping on its own toes and the forum managament here would be going haywire trying to deal with all of the activity.
