Hehe, my CE from GAME was sent today. Usually it takes five to seven days for them to get it here. If it arrives early next Tuesday, I can still take NV and my gaming laptop with me on the big journey back home to where it's green and lush and I always spent my birthday and the following week.
And knowing me, half of my 30th birthday will then be spent all bleary eyed in front of the screen. ^_^

There's at least one American that shares your pain; me. My CE pre-order from Amazon.com was estimated to arrive the 21st, but now there's some stupid confirmation issues with the card and the owner (my step-sis) is in class so I can't even deal with it. So now if I'm lucky, the game will arrive Friday the 22nd like everyone here. But, considering I have to leave for work at 3:00pm and my sis gets home at 3:30pm I won't get the issue resolved today and the delivery date will be pushed back even further...I had it all planned out too. Thursday night, Friday off, Saturday off...it's so infuriating. And to top it off after all the anticipation and waiting I might just run into some game breaking bug 3 hours in. :sadvaultboy:

I ordered it from a webstore, so i propably won't get it till next tuesday :(

You might be lucky ToJKa. I only ordered my Pre-Order copy on the 18th from Game and they said I will get the game on the day of release. :) Lucky I did not leave it any later to order tho as Game in the UK has stopped offering the Pre-Order pack today!!

Maybe, but the store warned about unusually long delivery time on that one. Well, i can wait for few extra days for getting the game in a box and for cheaper than the digital version from Steam.

I reserved my copy today - original edition, not CE. I valued the free t-shirt you get with it more than the extra CE stuff.

At least you guys get to play this weekend... I have to wait until the 29th for my first adventures into NV. Its gonna be the longest week ever.

Waiting until 22'nd isn't that much of a pain , but I live in Estonia ( everyone is like, where ? ) and the package delivery is pretty slow here , I believe I ordered from game.co.uk , so from 22'nd add about a week I guess , much pain .

There's actually quite a lot of people from scandinavia here, and atleast most of them should have a clue :)

Just don't think about new vegas ( yes i know it's hard), and concentrate on the things you're doing, believe me it helps time fly by. That's until your bored btw

Well.. Fallout is the "America′s First Choice in Post Nuclear Simulation" so america has to get it first. :sadvaultboy:

On the bright side, we still get the game this year unlike S.T.A.L.K.E.R Call of Pripyat came HALF YEAR after its release to Europe! :ahhh:

Wasn't it made IN the Ukraine? ROFL.

If "you're a PC" use the time you have left to throroughly clean house (system), turn down the beds (driver check and update), and prepare for your new guest (Vegas), he's gonna be picky about those little things and he'll put you in a mood if you don't welcome him properly into a spotless environment.

So basically guys I live in Scotland and New Vegas isn't out until Friday, and these extra 3 days could well be the longest of my life too date! Haha, anyway, first impressions? (without spoiling any of the story - iv lasted this long avoiding Mr house threads and the like, I just want to know if the improvements are recognisable.) Thanks!

Install took about 10 minutes from the DVD. Steam updated something...3 minutes.

From what I see so far this game has been worth the wait :celebration:
