Fun topic - Who is your most disliked NPC in Skyrim and why?

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 10:18 pm

The Thieves Guild members hanging out in the Ragged Flagon - I was a leading member of the Dark Brotherhood doing business with a member of the Thieves Guild and the other Guild members hanging about kept talking smack to me (ie warning me for being there). They made me wish I could kill them all and dump their corpses in the water too bad most were essential.

Delphine - I dislike her so much that I avoid the main quest as long as possible.

Every single child because they are all annoying twits. If I had to pick one it would be the girl in Whiterun that keeps telling me she's not afraid of me. I'd like to slap the hair off the little brat's head.

Did you do the mission for the other kid in town that she picks on? You get to go tell her to leave him alone. I tell her leave him alone. She acts like a little brat, then I say "Do you want to be sent to an orphanage?" Classic. There is only one kid that is cool that I've found in Skyrim, but I don't remember where I found him. He plays tag and hide and seek with you. Kind of an odd little break from the usual bandit slaying, you know?

The little boy in Riverwood does that. That's the first village you wander into after escaping Helgen. I kinda liked the lil dude too. But still... Argonians have moral codes. We either eat all the children for their tender flesh or none. Have to keep up a reputation and all that...

Siddgeir, Jarl of Falkreath.
Every other Jarl sends me on quests that benefit the people of his/her hold. This little :swear: tells me to fetch him a mead.
If he wasn't essential, he'd get murdered in his sleep.

Probably Elenwe the Thalmor ambassador and that other snotty cow Maven Black-Briar who happens to be immortal.

NPCs like Nazeem are just irritating. Luckily there is a quest
Spoiler
where he is captured by hagravens and you are sent to rescue him ... oops, I failed, hagraven got him, how sad, not!

For me it's got to be Cicero, it's not just because he's annoying and creepy, but it's also because I want characters in Skyrim to be harder, rugged and more realistic than their Oblivion counterparts, and for the most part it is thankfully exactly like that...apart from that damn Cicero who drags me right back to the goofy voices of Oblivion shopkeepers and annoying fans!

There so many out there. Mostly its Maul and Dirge

Aerin, Mjoll's BFF. I decided to show Mjoll the true Aerin by reverse pickpocketing a potent frenzy poison into his pocket. He immeadiately began attacking Mjoll, and she responded by planting her battleaxe in his forehead.

I laughed so hard when I saw this. I think Im going to do this on people I dont like

edit: There is also the female smith in Windhelm. I cant remember her name right now. She always taling about Ulfric

I think Heimskr automatically wins, every time I do the Companions quest-line and I become friendlier with my bestial side, he's always the first NPC I kill.If I don't join the Companions, then he's the NPC I use my "I'm a Thane, you can't arrest me" excuse on.

The late Nazeem in Whiterun.....one well aimed Frenzy spell and he was history. Many thanks to the guards and other fine townsfolk.
The late Dirge in the Ragged Flagon....a couple of Mayhem spells, and Vex, Tonilla, and Devlin promptly took care of him.

Whiterun Talos Worshipper. Not only is he incredibly annoying, he reminds me of the Megaton preacher in FO3, who was my most hated NPC there. I hate them so much.

Arcadia, because whether I am ill or perfectly fine, she looks at me like 'eww, you must be sick' like a scam diagnosist trying get me to buy her Tylenol for a disease I don't have.

And, most recently, Lydia. Because she's all I ever hear people have as a follower because she's 'hawt' and doesn't neglect them like a real person probably would. I decapitated her to mock you, virgins. Trollolo.

Braith...what a smug annoying little brat she is. Kinda sympathize with the Battle-Born boy that she keeps picking on...

Although Nazeem and Rolff come in a close 2nd and 3rd respectively (and the Talos preacher in Whiterun comes in 4th; as much as I'd support the worship of Talos in the game, there's only so much I can take of that preacher guy)

Heimskr. My Kaelas (Khajiit assassin/thief) murdered him in Broad Daylight, just because I cannot stand how he goes on and on and on about Talos. Yes, I am aware that Talos is a Deity, but for the love of the Nine, shut up already!

Can anyone tell me about this quest he mentioned? Please? I am in dire need of any justification to take Nazeem for a walk

As for NPCs I don't like:
"Do you get to the Cloud District very often?"
"You know, if you've got the aptitude, you should join the Mages College in Winterhold"
"Now I know who and what you are"
"Best stick together, don't want you to end up dead even before we got there"
"What are you looking at? I'm not afraid of you, you know"

I might end up killing the last one before everyone else. Just to show that people need to fear a person clad in Daedric Armor wielding Daedric War Axes named Pain and Agony

Cicero: I've never understood his fangirls.
Maven
Elenwen
Ondolemar
And after a certain quest: Elisif and Tullius. I have never met worse and whiny brats than them. Especially Elisif. Ye Gods woman.
And Karliah, only because her voice drives me insane.

"TALOS THE MIGHTY! TALOS THE UNERRING! TALOS THE UNASSAILABLE! TO YOU WE GIVE PRAISE! WE ARE BUT MAGGOTS WRITHING IN THE FILTH OF OUR OWN CORRUPTION! WHILE YOU HAVE ASCENDED FROM THE DUNG OF MORTALITY, AND NOW WALK AMONG THE STARS! BUT YOU WERE ONCE MAN! AYE! AND AS MAN YOU SAID, "LET ME SHOW YOU THE POWER OF TALOS, STORMCROWN, BORN OF THE NORTH, WHERE MY BREATH IS LONG WINTER. I BREATHE NOW IN ROYALTY AND RESHAPE THIS LAND WHICH IS MINE. I DO THIS FOR YOU, RED LEGIONS, FOR I LOVE YOU." AYE, LOVE! LOVE! EVEN AS MAN, GREAT TALOS CHERISED US. FOR HE SAW IN US, IN EACH OF US, THE FUTURE OF SKYRIM! THE FUTURE OF TAMRIEL! AND THERE IT IS, FRIENDS! THE UGLY TRUTH! WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF MAN! TALOS IS THE TRUE GOD OF MAN! ASCENDED FROM FLESH, TO RULE THE REALM OF SPIRIT! THE VERY IDEA IS INCONCEIVABLE TO OUR ELVEN OVERLORDS! SHARING THE HEAVENS WITH US? WITH MAN? HA! THEY CAN BARELY TOLERATE OUR PRESENCE ON EARTH! TODAY, THEY TAKE AWAY YOUR FAITH. BUT WHAT OF TOMORROW? WHAT THEN? DO THE ELVES TAKE YOUR HOMES? YOUR BUSINESSES? YOUR CHILDREN? YOUR VERY LIVES? AND WHAT DOES THE EMPIRE DO? NOTHING! NAY, WORSE THAN NOTHING! THE IMPERIAL MACHINE ENFORCES THE WILL OF THE THALMOR! AGAINST ITS OWN PEOPLE! SO RISE UP! RISE UP, CHILDREN OF THE EMPIRE! RISE UP, STORMCLOAKS! EMBRACE THE WORD OF MIGHTY TALOS, HE WHO IS BOTH MAN AND DIVINE! FOR WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF MAN! AND WE SHALL INHERIT THE HEAVENS AND EARTH! AND WE, NOT THE ELVES OR THEIR TOADIES, WILL RULE SKYRIM! FOREVER!"

I don't remember their names, but there's 2 elf women who have a clothing shop in Solitude. I wish I could "remove" them and put Lydia to run the shop, give her something useful to do.
