[Insert gundam game here] , I have never heard of anybody from this forum liking any gundam game or Katamari damacy.

That's only beacuse I never played any Gundam games . I'll probably pick up one of them someday when I can afford.
Spoiler
Mobile Suit Z Gundam is a great series though.

Gundam Side Story 0079: Rise From the Ashes on the Dreamcast was excellent. I've also played most of the PS2 games, but none held my attention after Zeonic Front.

Always would have liked them to try a Gundam 0080 game, in the same style as Side Story 0079. Or any new Gundam game with a cockpit view that was as well done as RftA.

Nice to see War of the Monsters has seen some love on these forums. But...

Whoah, there's a sequel to King of the Monsters 2? Well now you've got me interested, I need to track this down.

Edit: Ah looks like it is more like KotM1. FFA battlin instead of side scrollin beatem up. KotM1 was pretty good though too.

...You confused me for a second there. Huh, turns out that the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDqcdZWiwqc was very different from the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUSl_iwPPtI&feature=related (which I played). Learn something new everyday.

I agree completely. But I thought people thought honest hearts was the worst ? I loved all the dlc, way I saw it was

Dead money > opperation anchorage
honest hearts > point lookout
old world blues > mothership zeta
Lonesome road > The pitt

The writing in FNV was better, the dlc was amazing all linked up yet seperate, it was just great.
Atmosphere was great, I feel stressed and creeped out in the dlc. My only real issues with dead money was I cant go back.

I would have liked more imact on the world though, like meeting dog/god as a random encounter if he lived and dean getting a job in the tops. In HH maybe have follows chalk as a companion in the main game. I jsut wanted more impact on the main game after the dlc.

Ah, you might be right about Honest Hearts being the least popular, but Dead Money gets most of the complaints.

More impact on the main game would definitely have been nice, especially in Lonesome Road.
Spoiler
Launching the nukes should have done more than affect your reputation and open up a couple extra dungeons; they honestly should have altered the ending slides, permanently bar you from some of the paths in the main quest, and maybe affect some areas of the Mojave.

Oblivion.

Everyone says it svcks... but, it really doesn't. How does a game svck? I mean, I guess it could svck my memory and CPU... but, still.

I don't think it svcks, but it was a disappointment to me. I thought the setting was pretty uninteresting, and I didn't enjoy the story much. I could live with that, but for me, the RPG mechanics and economies (not just money) were a train wreck. Totally unsatisfying. That's just my opinion, though.

i loved fable 2, i know it was casual and whatnot but i really enjoyed the setting and gunplay way more than i did the first

Also dragon age 2, many things could and should have been done different but it was still a fun game.

Also i saw prototype listed, was that game really not liked? That game actually felt like you were a badass, a literal person of mass destruction. Probably the best super hero (i use that term very loosely) game i ever played

On the game cube i played the hulk mass distruction or something like that, alot like prototype, made you actually feel like you controlled this massive green monster

Oblivion didn't svck...i mean it scored numerous tens, won many rpg or even game of the year awards, a huge success any way you look at it

A lot of people didn't like Super Mario Sunshine, but it's my favorite Mario game.

A few others: Luigi's Mansion, LOTR: Battle for Middle-Earth 2, Oblivion.

hmm...

Skies of Arcadia- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skies_of_Arcadia It is a really good game, got amazing reviews, but everyone else I have talked to says it's a horrible game. I don't understand...

Baten Kaitos Origins- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baten_Kaitos_Origins I like this one better then the first game. it didn't have very good voice acting, but the game play and graphics blew me away at the time it came out. Everyone I've talked to says different.

Banjo Tooie- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banjo-Tooie Great game. It is so creative and original, but nobody but a friend and I know what it is! I loved the first one to, but I like this one better.

Viking: battle For Asgard- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viking:_Battle_for_Asgard This game was so much fun and had so much potential. I thought that if Sega made another one, they would've learned from the first one and made a far superior game. The engine they ran it on obviously had some potential to be able to put the huge battle scenes in the game. Awesome game! I recommend playing it. Great mindless hack and slash game that is dirt cheap now for both 360 and PS3.

Just purely out of curiosity, with you having played Arena and Daggerfall beforehand, what about Oblivion's setting stuck out as being uninteresting?

Nothing really "stuck out" as being uninteresting, but nothing stuck out as being interesting, either. There were so many things to learn about the culture in Morrowind that I guess I was hoping for a less generic fantasy setting. I guess I give Arena and Daggerfall a pass because of their age. Oblivion just felt like a bit of a step back to me as far as the depth of the setting. Then again, I guess the Imperials are supposed to be more of a traditional medieval European culture than the Dunmer.

Only game I can think of is Toribash. My friends thought it was awesome looking when I played it, but discovered it was rather difficult to play and gave it up quickly. Usually I buy games that are already considered awesome, why squander money on titles that aren't? I'm not in the financial position to be taking risks.

I LOVE this game! I remember that everyone knew about it when it came out because Banjo Kazooie (the first one) was so incredible. Perhaps it hasn't been remembered quite as fondly as many other games of the era though...

oh good another fan! I agree with you on this one. I think Spyro took this and buried it. Both games were awesome and very creative, I just wish this game got more credit and a better current system game then nuts and bolts.

Morrowind. Believe it or not outside of this forum nobody I've met likes the game. Actually this is true of most RPGs.

Dragon Age 2. Why the hell do people dislike this? Okay, they took out the camp and removed the races. So what? The story is a thousand times better and more in-depth than Dragon Age 1 by a long shot. The characters are more interesting and you can make a much greater connection with each one. Plus, the fact that my character is voice acted makes me really feel like my character is a part of the in-game world just as much as any other character.

I have to answer this. Many people, me included, have nothing but hatred for it because it plays like a bedammed JRPG. It cost more than DA:O, was not even half as long, was mostly empty space, pigeonholed players in a "class role", got rid of a huge amount of customization (Arcane Warrior, wha?) and was Laidlawized (excuse me, streamlined) to appeal to the average thirty-second attention span Call of Duty player. "Button = AWESOME!"

There's a reason it gets called CoDA2 or Gears of Dragon Duty.

But apparently that's all considered AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWESOME!

Jupiter : Nexus incident was one of the best space games I ever played. However, it never did very well. It had a pretty steep learning curve that made it unplayable to many.

Black Ops.
I think COD gets so much hate 'cos it seems like the cool thing to do in the Gaming Community.

I have never met anyone outside of my family who has liked the games. If I'm interpreting your post right, you are the first person I have met who also likes Zoo Tycoon.

A lot of people dislike COD because it's an average shooter that gets a lot of undeserved praise. It also is a gross mis-representation of what games can be, which is sad since it's the most MAINSTREAM (I really hate that word) gaming franchise.

I don't necessarily hate it, it's a generally fun game. I just dislike it's popularity. I guess I'm a hipster.
