[*]Game deletes session saves when crashing. (uncommon)
-When it crashes, it always rolls back Auto and Quicksaves. Make actual saves to get around this issue. Make them frequently.
-Patched.

This issue has not been fixed for me despite the patch.

Also, maybe not a bug, but weird nonetheless:

On the road from Goodsprings to Primm, I killed a Gangmember near his Trailer-home (on the left side of the road). But his dynamite on that table is still flagged red, so picking those up counts as stealing! Why should picking up a dead thug's stuff cost me Karma??? :banghead:

I went to the Lucky 38, and when I went inside(not the first time) and Victor and the other securitrons were automatically hostile, and I never did ANYTHING! I reloaded a previous save and Victor was outside of the Lucky 38, dead. He was not there before, and when I resurrected him with the console, he was hostile for some reason. I'm pretty sure this is a bug.

Npc's that are in a state of disarray,( :ahhh:) I generally save "alot"!, and re-load a previously saved game. This usually fixes the NPC bugs, that not only I seem to experience but others as well. (similarities) Sometimes, however, Ive had to restart multiple times and it eventually works. I usually make sure before encountering a "new" quest, I save it and not through quick saving. All the saving is done manually. It does work, eventually.

Another I ran into recently: Rex randomly attacking generic NPCs in North Vegas. Luckily they didn't turn hostile to me so I could just heal him with stimpacks until they were dead.

NPCs who have special dialogue about Rex (eg: caesar's dog handler) still say it even though I don't have Rex with me. I told Rex to wait in my hotel room at the Atomic Wrangler.

Getting your stuff back after you beat Benny in the arena fight takes forever. Forever. Why can't my inventory just be refilled instantaneously? Why do I have to watch a slow, cumbersome, boring, message for every single item that gets put back in the pack?

In the NCR camp that has the two big statues you can jump up on the cliff near the open back gate (across from the bar) and then walk over to where the exterior fence meets the rock. Since you are on the cliff, it's flat and there is nothing there, yet an invisible barrier keeps you from moving past the fence line. Obviously the game wants the player to use a key to get through the fence gate, but if that is the case, why make it so the cliff is walkable? Don't tease with possibilities of alternative solutions if there aren't any. I also tried to jump over the fence using stacked barrels, but was again met with invisible barrier at the top of the fence. If you don't want players to use barrels to get over obstacles, make them so that players can't walk on them. Coming up with a creative solution only to be denied by a barrier I can't even see is lame.

Okay, I guess Rex is just attacking poor people - he went after some junkies just now in the building Keith the con man's in. Also ran into two more bugs I'd forgotten about while I was in that building, in the span of two minutes or so:

1. Lily frequently has her gun and her sword equipped at the same time. That is, they both show up on her character model whether they're on her back or in her hands. This is an old Fallout 3 bug if I remember correctly.

2. The screen's been getting tinted blue for some reason recently. At first I thought it was part of a quest since after a while it wore off with the typical "recovering from a chem" effect, but now I think it's a bug since it's happened twice and nothing seems to be happening that's related to it.

The Recharger Pistol iron sights are up and to the left by a good inch from where you're actually firing.

This happens with me too(especially during conversations) and my computer's specs are better than the recommended requirements...

Uninstall FFD filters, and any codec pack that might have them pre-installed (CCCP).

Merchants are selling some cases of ammo for free :) no price was set :shocking:

Are you sure they weren't Casings? You know, the stuff you need to make rounds out of at a Reloading Bench. Those are free.

When assaulting the NCR prison, theft of Powder Ganger supplies results in karma loss. (bug?)

It's quite possible this may happen because the prison changes hands to the NCR once you start the assault, rather than after.

Rather than uninstalling them, which I don't recommend, they should be able to add an exception for the Fallout New Vegas and Fallout New Vegas Launcher .exe files. I did this (I'm using the k-lite codec pack) and it fixed my audio problems.

Nope, this has happened to me at Powder Ganger hideouts and I haven't even found the prison yet.

A couple notes regarding my recent bugs: the blue tint effect seems to be the Cateye effect (I just took my first dose and it was identical to the bug). Since there's no message that it's wearing off when the bugged version wears off and I haven't gotten addicted or anything, I'm assuming it's not triggering the full effect, just the visuals.

Also, Rex attacked a quest-related NPC (after I'd finished talking to him), so I sent him to the Lucky 38 until I can figure out what's going on or the bug is fixed. If it's a bug at all - maybe I should have stuck with the old lady's dog.

I get a CDT on open of a barter menu from the new patch. Aside from that the CDT after 5 min of game play is annoying also.=(
Edit: o and the glitch that was described with the cowboy repeater, i get that for the hunting shotgun.

Once, I exited a house in Pillum or whatever it's called, and a bunch of road textures were just flat grey and didn't go away until I was far enough away that the game had to reload them

- reloading guns can sometimes lock them up leaving you unable to fire/aim/vats for a few seconds. the C.Repeater bug you listed is more than likely this or similar to it, though it only seems to happen on weapons with individual cartridge loading (.357/C.Repeater/lever shotgun/hunting shotgun/trail carbine/brush gun) my guess is it has to do with the fact that individual cartridges are loaded and the animations they use (these type of weapons did not exist in F03)

- Companion bugs.
- wandering around people will comment on my companions even if they are not present.
- sometimes they will spawn in to a location i have just loaded to when they are set to wait mode elsewhere.
- they will randomly leave my service when loading into areas and return to their default locations. (annoying as ****)

In hardcoe mode,I found that you can heal crippled limbs sleeping in an "owned" bed:

Video showing the bug in the Novac motel:

It is my understanding that you should only be able to heal limbs by visiting a doctor or using a doctor bag.

I think that is glitched in more than one way. Sometimes in hardcoe mode, I can still heal a limb with a stimpack. Sometimes I can't, which is what is supposed to happen. I've never slept in an owned bed though.

When you meet Victor in Boulder City or Novac the Dialog is correct for the setting, but when you meet him north of GoodSprings with the Cazadors his dialog is from the time you met him in Novac. The dialog is somehow messed up.

After helping the NCR take back the NCRCF, the radio host comments as if I sided with the powder gangers.

ive seen probably 2 dozen or so "floating" rocks all over the wasteland, where you can see under/through them as they don't meet up with the land.

I can confirm this. That happened to me once. I was talking to this rough looking guy and he sounded normal in the dialogue. After I closed dialogue he said something to me and sounded like a teen lol. I'm pretty sure it was a bug. Wish I could remember the name of the NPC. It was fairly early on in the game though. I haven't encountered it again so far.

Just got another bug. After I did everything in McCarran I got a key from the guy for a reward, he says the stash is "to the south" but that's it. No map marker, no nothing. WTF? -_- Man I hate that lame crap. There was no data note, no map marker all he said was "stash to the south". Wow really ? Must be a bug...

another character with the voice thing is deputy begale.

If you just let him say howdy with out actually talking to him, it's a different voice actor from when you do talk to him directly.

Another thing ive noticed, no matter how hurt you are (ive had like 10 hp) when you go to a doctor to get fixed up they all say things like "oh thats nothing, ive seen worse) same things they say if your almost at full hp and ask to be looked at. (seems as if they should have a "damn you got here just in time" etc line when your almost dead but it doesn't trigger.
