Hearthfire DLC [merged similar topics]

http://tarr.uspto.gov/servlet/tarr?regser=serial&entry=85634522 - Hearth Fire TARR.
Zenimax (Bethesda) have registered "Hearth Fire" under "Computer game software for use with computers and video game consoles; downloadable computer game software offered via the internet and wireless devices".

This leads me to believe this is the second Xbox 360 timed-exclusive dlc for Skyrim.

http://tarr.uspto.gov/servlet/tarr?regser=serial&entry=85546517 - Dawnguard TARR.
The exact same method happened for the Dawnguard dlc.

Folks, Hearth Fire is the next dlc.

---
Heartfire is the ninth of the 12 seasons in the Elder Scrolls universe. It is considered to be a Fall (Autumn) month. (by our definition).
Annual Events during Hearthfire:
  • 1st of Hearthfire: The Rites of Moawita practiced by the Psijic Order.
  • 3rd of Hearthfire: Tales and Tallows - A celebration of Necromancy. Many citizens fear this day, and avoid the streets.
  • 6th of Hearthfire: Khurat is celebrated in the Wrothgarian Mountains
  • 12th of Hearthfire: Riglametha held in Lainlyn.
  • 19th of Hearthfire: Children's Day celebrated in Betony.

Thanks to user Phyber for pointing this out!

You can read the in-game book (Book Nine of 2920, The Last Year of the First Era) about Hearth Fire http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:2920,_Hearth_Fire,_v9

This gentleman named yong whom I am now subscribed too on youtube has found some small bit of info on a 2nd dlc coming out for Skyrim called "hearthfire". Honestly I'm not "entirely" sure that this may be confirmation that it is indeed the 2nd dlc but Check out the video for details and tell me what you guys think.

The 1st is about vampires, which is lame.

The second is about necromancers?

Highly unlikely it's about necromancy.

Likely more to do with Time/Akatosh if anything

What are u guys talking about? Vampire dlc is freaking awesome. Now necromancers?! You will get access to rituals of the dead, summon ghosts and other ethereal creatures, and see a return to the necromantic liches!! Sounds like a new challenge and something fun to me!! :)

Highly doubt it. I'd think it's more likely that it's related to the Thalmor. Esbern tells us that the Great War began in Frostfall, the month immediately after Hearthfire. Perhaps the DLC will include the prequel to a war with the Thalmor?

The third of Hearthfire is the summoning day for Nocturnal, though it seems to me there are better and more interesting things they could do with DLC than that. Also, there's already a thread for future DLC discussions.

Clearly the DLC will be about the candle in Candlehearth Hall that never goes out. It's going to be an absolutly amazing DLC filled with adventures, that centers around a candle. Yup, definitaly a candle.

I think you will find he is wrong. Zenimax patented the name Dragonborn way before that, but after Dawnguard. There is a high possibilty that is the second dlc. Mainly because the patent is to do with computer games and downloadable content. Hearthfire might just be a skill book dlc, or the third dlc. I'm not definitely right but that's what some evidence shows.

Well, from the trailer it looks we'll be doing another trek into an Oblivion dimension.

I want some more Daggerfall style political intrigues.

I argue the opposite. Declaring that you don't care what it is, you'll buy it no matter what is what will lead to one day a DLC where a duck quacks at you for 30 seconds and then deletes your saves.

You people seriously concern yourself with meta examples of vampires, werewolves, necromancers, anything really too much and don't focus on what these things are IN THE GAME.
Vampire in Skyrim are nothing like vampires from Underworld or Twilight.
Same is true for werewolves.
I for one love playing a necromancer character, even though all I really do as a "necromancer" is use a few raise zombie spells. I'd really like to see more vampire and necromancer content to fully flesh out two playstyles that have been nothing more than bare bones for a long time now.
For example, if you want to play an assassin there's plenty of armor and items for you and you have lots of skills at your disposal. Same goes for warriors and mages. Say you want to try to play as a necromancer? Well, good luck, because like I said earlier all you can really do to call yourself a necromancer is raise a few zombies. You can no longer create black soul stones and there aren't that many "necromancer" items aside from black "necromancer" robes.

The opportunity to kill several thalmor...I like this

Hopefully your right I did get my hopes high that the first dlc somehow involved the thalmor

Well, hearths are used for cooking, so maybe this is where the Dovahkiin settles down and takes culinary classes.

OMG I would totally buy that.

Wait, are they vampire ducks? Cuz then I'm not paying for it.

If it means I can learn to cook something that does not involve a preponderance of cabbage, I'm all for it.

I disagree you should let your opinions be known instead of blindly accepting what you are given, its good to let the devs know what you want so they might listen and add it in and its good to voice your opinion on bug fixes and so on, its always good to voice what you want as ling as its constructive.
