Hearthfire DLC [merged similar topics]

2920 vol 09 - Hearth Fire: seems to be an imperial story. It mentions Black Marsh, Cyrodiil and High Rock - the latter two multiple times. Also mentions Morrowind a lot.
I would love anything over necromancy again. We need some new content that was not done at least since last game a necromancy quest line was already explored extensively in Oblivion with the mages guild and the Hearthfire book does have some interesting going ons in it.

I also agree with what you have said my friend, but I feel like I have bug tested this game since release and I am still doing wo and I am not really enjoying it at all, I am holing that after this game gets its final patch I will enjoy it more, I stick with this series because its ny all time favorite game series ever and I want these games to work for everybody across all platforms.

Hey I think that's what everyone wants. I didn't buy Oblivion until the GOTY edition. Looking back I can honestly say that I would have thought the same thing about vanilla oblivion as I do vanilla skyrim. It was a good game but it was the extra content that put it over the top. I'm confiden't skyrim will follow this trend as bethesda hasn't given me any reason to doubt that. Maybe that's why I have an optomistic view on things as far as bugs. Bethesda is good about cleaning up their games... eventually lol.

I am just going to wait to hold my ultimate view on this expansion until I play it, I hope that this add on enriches the entire experience because I think Skyrim needs that compared to previous entries in the series because as it stands right now its lacking in what it offered compared to the other entries in the series, the only two area where Skyrim surpasses the other games is the combat is improved, the combat part not the magic part, and the game is a lot prettier than the others.

I will have to wait and reserve judgement again based until I see the next patch regarding bugs, I am judging this game now with the 1.5 patch and things are by far not up to par and the patches keep breaking things, I hope the next patches are amazing I am optimistic about 1.6 and I hope the final patch really fixes things for us.

Very hard to speculate on at this time for me. All I can say with confidence at this time is that I support your avatar 95%

Possibility? Certain.

Contents? Fireplaces. Many many fireplaces.

Things that people felt that Dawnguard should have had (obviously).

I hope they add a new area, that would be really, really nice

Appreciate it Velox have to give a shout out to other pilots out there! I was just curious if anyone found any in-game references to hearthfire?

Alinor, hopefully. Then Beth can show the city as it was described in the PGE, and those lot over at TES:O have no excuse for removing the rainbows, magic lights and insect shell buildings from the game, which they most likely will do.

I hope they do what most people are hoping for and open up some of the boundaries of Skyrim!

I wouldn't mind being able to venture into any of the provinces connected to Skyrim, not a lot though. Maybe just be able to venture into (I'll use Morrowind) which would be about the size of a hold.

Not so much in-game reference, just game lore; Hearthfire is a month on the Tamriel calender.

I don't really care for Dawnguard in the slightest. xD Vampires don't interest me, so I'm very excited for the next one! :)

Bethesda hasn't confirmed Hearthfire yet so it may not even be a future dlc. The screenshot which mentioned Hearthfire could have been made on microsoft word VERY easily. The name Hearthfire is a month in TES lore but anyone who knows the lore well could tell you that, so they could have just chosen a random TES month and then everyone would believe that the is was the new dlc. People are jumping to conctutions with just some name which could have been a lie.

On top of magelight and candlelight? I think that's a bit much...

Hypothermia, etc., à la Frostfall, perhaps?

Seems unlikely, but that's what first comes to mind with this name. Or perhaps it's related to the book, http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:2920,_Hearth_Fire,_v9

I'm not familiar with any screenshot, but it was reported that Bethesda filed a http://tarr.uspto.gov/servlet/tarr?regser=serial&entry=85634522 for use of this term in connection with the class of products including "downloadable computer game software offered via the internet and wireless devices"

Hearthfire or hearth Fire is a period of time during the year is it not? There are a few references to particular dates during Hearthfire in the books we collect, nothing seemed to stand out though.

Edit
You guys are too quick, I was still reading before replying.

ha dawnguard isn't even out and you're already thinking about the next dlc? You know that we probably won't see hearthfire until christmas or early next year right? Dawnguards copyright was filed in february iirc and it looks like it won't be out for another month or so. Hearthfire was just filed a week ago so if it follows the same pattern of file to release then we won't see it for a long time...
