Hearthfire DLC [merged similar topics]

Hypothermia, etc., à la Frostfall, perhaps?

Seems unlikely, but that's what first comes to mind with this name. Or perhaps it's related to the book, http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:2920,_Hearth_Fire,_v9

According to that book there is a lot of reference to Cyrodiil and High Rock so maybe those areas will open up... just wishful thinking.

No one knows what it'll be, but one thing is for sure: it WILL be the next big DLC, as the claim is exactly the same as Dawnguard was.

Hopefully Argonians, but I doubt it.... =(

FTFY

But seriously it would be nice to see a Orc centric DLC. I mean all those Strongholds must be there for a reason. Plus I like Orcs.

You so get me..... :P Argonian or Khajiit would be very cool. Perhaps even Bosmer......I'm sick of the lack of races besides Altmer, Dunmer, Nord, and Imperials! (I guess Bretons, I can't really tell)

Sounds like the Gungan city in Star Wars.

I think it'll be awesome, because if not, the water breathing ability or the amulet would be pointless.

copy and pasted this from another thread i dont think its true but could add something to discuss...If you have read any of the other volumes from 2090 you'll find that much of it takes place in Morrowind. In Skyrim you can see that the developers included Red Mountain, maybe there's a connection?

I was hoping that was going to be the first dlc, much to my disappointment, but I still have high hopes for Dawnguard.

They included some LOD in all directions past the heightmap that shipped with the game so players wouldn't see a gigantic void if they ever caught a glimpse of what's over the mountains. The LOD is rather half-assed at that, and doesn't match up with the maps we've seen of morrowind throughout the series.

I'm not familiar with any screenshot, but it was reported that Bethesda filed a http://tarr.uspto.gov/servlet/tarr?regser=serial&entry=85634522 for use of this term in connection with the class of products including "downloadable computer game software offered via the internet and wireless devices"
Yes, but I read that they did the same thing with the term "dragonborn" a while back. It doesn't mean that it's necessarily the title of the dlc. It could just be some aspect of a patch or even dawnguard that they felt needed to be trademarked. My mom is the businesswoman though, not me haha, so I'm no expert on this stuff

I've been looking at lore involving that month. During that month there is a day called Tales and Tallows when everyone is afraid to walk the streets because they fear the dead are out in the streets during that day. (Necromancer DLC?) Also a event called Khurat occurs during that month. Its when young men become part of the clergy. Those are the only two worth wile event sin that month. (Cleric/Crusader DLC?)

I hope they do what most people are hoping for and open up some of the boundaries of Skyrim!
Probably this

Nocturnal's summoning date is the 8th of hearthfire, perhaps it is something relating to her?

Isn′t Hearthfire kinda the summer-season in elder scrolls? Could be a sign that we maybe can visit a warmer place. I wouldn′t say no to a tropical realm of a deadric-lord.

I believe it is the September of TES.

Does anyone have a clue on the release date or is it going to be announced at E3? (Dawnguard)

Hearthfire. The Dovahkiin has learned to harness the fire within his heart, his Dragon Soul, in order to master Shouts. Now it's time he learn to embrace it, to assume the form of a Dragon...

Liches?

I kinda notice a trend here with Skyrim...

If I am correct, the top 3 toughest enemies in Daggerfall was 1: Ancient Lich. 2: Ancient Vampire. And 3: Dragonlings. (At least for me)

The Main Skyrim game is about Dragons then the 1st DLC is about Vampires... See where I'm going at?

"I'm noticing a trend here: two of the enemies that I found the most difficult in Daggerfall are being featured quite prominently in Skyrim... this might mean that the third will follow"

Imagine the reaction. "Another DLC about undead?!"
