I'm actually only 15. Surprising isn't it? Well, maybe not with this name that I want to change but can't. Anyway, I've only played through FO3 and FO1.

I'm 14 and what is this?

But seriously, I am 14 as well. Believe it or not, I am not getting this game because of the gambling, drugs, sixuality, or even the violence. I am in it for the story, the depth, and the roleplaying. The other things are... extra.

Older than 25, younger than 30, but yes FO: NV is a new game in a market driven by young people spending dosh.
Plus it has gambling, violence, drugs and sixual content of a sort, can you figure why teenagers are interested in it?

Old (enough) chaps like us - I fit in the same agegap as you - don't have any interest in such things, right? Educational value and so forth. :P

17 here.

im 17 too, turned 17 recently. i dont see why it would be a big deal if i played this game.

its not like when you turn 18 you suddenly gain +5 maturity.

but i know some other guys that dont even use the speech options on fallout games. they take the 13 year old path and just kill all the npc and take their weapons.

hell when i was 13 i had already beaten fallout 1 and 2. got the good ending in most settlments. ( i kept replaying to trying to get good broken hills ending, turned out there wasnt one)

what im saying is even when i was that young i was still mature enough to play games like this.

ps. super excited for the its always sunny season premiere tonight

40.

When they un-earth my bones in 10,000 years, there will be a game controller still firmly-gripped in my skeletal hands.

I think it's great, I've been gaming pretty much my whole life and have been playing RPGs similar to Fallout since 13. More power to you- I'm just suprised how many fans are younger.

Can't wait. Stuck in night class, when I should be watching It's Always Sunny.

Yeah I'm one of the old guys who believes that your only as old as you feel. :)

Been making video games all my life, from Zork, Ultima III/IV, Doom, Quake/CTF, Sojourn Mud, Toril Mud, Freelancer, Oblivion and Fallout3, and don't suspect I'll ever stop. Can you imagine how much joy I have with a company like Bethesda releasing such Good quality CS's? I used to code the whole shebang in C from scratch for the MUDs, so to me the GECK is perhaps one of the most amazing pieces of software I've ever used. FNV is gonna be like a crazy dream. :fallout:

We need to start our own Ol' Farts Club or something. I'm beginning to get a little intimidated by all this raging youth.

I am... (13). I was introduced to Fallout by my dad. He had it stuffed away in some closet. I wanted to see what it was like, so I popped it in my comp and instantly fell in love. When I saw Fallout 3, I knew I HAD to get it. But even though I am young, I have the maturity to type like an 21+ year old.

(You really can tell the difference between an advlt typing and a kid, hence some of the threads here have poor spelling mistakes. Even though an advlt may type that bad, well, that is pretty sad. You know, just sayin."
