The temperature will continue to be around 25°C to next month because of the surrounding monsoon.

I have a mate that needs to get back to Singapore after exams. Is the weather conspiring against her from both sides of the globe? :P

Singapore's December is usually wet, but this year it is unusually drier (a little), the weather forecast for the past few weeks have been 3-4 out of 5 days are rain or thunderstorm, fortunately, it is wrong 4 out of 5 times.

Not necessarily. We've been getting summer storms every other day here, so the crops don't have a chance to dry out. Harvest keeps getting delayed as a result. It's ironic that the best rain in years means the best crops, but also means that it can't be harvested.

So, in case you didn't guess we've been getting a lot of storms here in south eastern Australia. One day will be hot enough to fry an egg on the roof, the next will be wet enough to swim down the road. Occasionally you can do both.

And thats why I am glad I don't live in Australia.
Actually, I also found that ironic, every year, on the news, you hear about the ozzies complaining about the endless drought in Victoria and New South Wales, and now there is flooding.
Here, though, it seems pretty consistent http://www.stuff.co.nz/business/farming/4430862/Drought-likely-to-be-declared-in-Northland http://www.stuff.co.nz/business/farming/4418164/Farmers-fear-another-summer-drought some drought info. And http://www.metservice.com/national/maps-rain-radar/rain-radar-forecasts/rain-forecast-3-day

Mostly sunny summer days, but today was freezing, with a pretty killer southerly.

Hoping for a cloudless Christmas day though :celebration:

Sun? In Wellington?! This is madness!

I know, that's why I said "barely above freezing", since freezing is 273 kelvins (give or take)

Any person could tell you are using kelvin, as kelvin is the only measure of temperature that doesn't use degrees.

He was quoting you for actually getting it...

But yeah, it's... -5C here in Atlanta. Love it. Only thing to make me happier is a working heater, some snow, and a week off of work.

At the moment it's around 25C in Tasmania
The last couple of days it has been so foggy you can't see the house next door

And it's been flooding in most parts of Australia

BTW how do you reply to other peoples posts

Correction: In your part of the State. All of Tassie doesn't get the same weather.

Another Taswegian? I thought (hoped :P) I was the only one.
We dont' get fog, though I see it sometimes in the hills behind us.

*snip*
One day will be hot enough to fry an egg on the roof, the next will be wet enough to swim down the road. Occasionally you can do both.

Sounds like here.
As some clothing ad on the radio said, "We're bound to get Winter at least once a week." Even during Summer.
It blows a gale most times, where I am, because of where I am probably.

The weather is pretty bad in Northern ireland, has been very cold and snowy for the last week and a half. I wasn't able to make it to work yesterday due to the snow and got in this morning about 40 minutes late because of it. What is normally an hour drive home took me about 2hrs on Monday evening.

Last week, there has been a lot of snow and cold temperatures (-10C) for the time of year, causing lots of traffic jams and accidents. Last few days it's a little warmer (around 0 C), but due to fog and re-freezing of the roads, there were problems with iced roads again.
Seems fine today, though.

I heard Scotland got hit pretty bad too, I think.

I think it was more unexpected than bad, nothing like you have. Our Members of the Scottish Parliament are getting hell for not keeping our roads clear, every bloody winter...

Ice. No snow, just ice. Was -6 this morning, but it's probably around -1°C to 1°C at the moment.

How's your local weather? Just say whereabouts your from and how the season's treating you.

I live in London, Ontario, Canada, and in the past two days we've had, oh, I'd say about a good metre(3 feet)or more of snowfall. Apparently we've been declared a "state of emergency" because we were unprepared yet again. Everyone is stuck in snow and there's not enough snowplows to move it all. I saw a Cat front-end loader clearing my complex's parking lot this afternoon, and many people are shoveling their own streets clear because a plow isn't coming any time soon. Supposed to be more snowfall for another two days.

I heard Scotland got hit pretty bad too, I think.

London, ON as well and it's awesome! I worked from home for two days which was nice. I had to come in today though. Airport Road to 401 wasn't too bad but I hear the inner city is still a cluster [censored].

We haven't declared a state of emergency but the mayor is suggesting everyone stay put. Also, schools are closed, malls are closed, buses aren't running.. it's nasty. In my backyard I got about 3 feet of snow and we are supposed to get another 10cm today.

Yeah, a cluster [censored] pretty much sums it up. guess I heard wrong on the whole "state of emergency" thing. still really crappy out.

It's a balmy 0 F this morning. The weather liar said it would be -40 but thankfully he was wrong. Still with ice on the roads but they have put grooves in the ice to give a bit more traction. There is snow on the ground (about a foot) but not snowing this morning. Overall it's not bad at all this day.

Most of Scotland did get hit hard by the snow, but the area I live in has the least amount of it BUT recently that has changed... Everywhere is ice and most mornings it's -10c. Our school isn't closing because it isn't owned by the council, which I guess is good because I have exams at the moment.

Cold. It's like 40 degrees in the Heart of Texas, which shouldn't be happening. Needless to say, I do not enjoy it.

It's 2am here and 20C. Not much wind. Warm and a little humid. Unfortunately that makes the spiders come out. I hate spiders, anything with more than 4 legs
Time for another fumigation.
